Angie's Sugar Buzz Bakery — Restaurant in Sandwich Township

Angie's is just the cutest. The atmosphere is very rustic chic Americana, and you immediately feel at home when you walk in. The little decor touches are just adorable - especially the wall of doors separating the kitchen from the counter area. Every single thing we tried was amazing (especially the pecan sticky buns, maple bacon donuts, and the lemon bars, omg do not skip these!!!!!!), but the service was even better. All the ladies are so helpful and sweet, and Angie is so personable and professional. We cannot wait to have her bake our wedding cake (her lemon raspberry option is AMAZING), and to try the apple cider donuts in the fall! We will definitely be back to try the pastries and other sweets we didn't get to this time 😂

Edit: Angie is also a gem to work with for events - so professional and friendly, and her work is just wonderful. Our wedding cake was absolutely delicious (we went with lemon cake with raspberry filling and white buttercream and OMG), and Angie came personally to deliver and set up our cake and the mini apple cider donuts as well on the day of our wedding, in a downpour of rain. Over the past weekend my mom took my youngest son to Angie's Sugar Buzz Bakery & they made him a special cupcake & my mom some fresh coffee. I'm pregnant & my husband & I found out the gender of our baby this morning. After the wonderful experience my mom & son had at Angie's I decided to call them & see if they would make 3 special gender reveal cupcakes for us. They made us 3 jumbo chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting with blue sprinkles & pink crystal flakes on top, & they put pink frosting inside the cupcakes. We wanted them for our 3 older boys. The cupcakes were perfect! Their customer service was wonderful & they had the cupcakes made way earlier than I expected. I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. So my girls and I decided to try them out since we love apple cider doughnuts. We waited for a fresh batch even to come out of the oven. All of this was $31, which is sort of pricey especially for how good they were. As I bit into my doughnut I expected it to taste fresh and soft and it didn't even taste like an apple cider doughnut. It honestly tasted like a pumpkin doughnut. Even my girls said the same thing. My husband who loves turnovers said that the turn over was about a 3/5 as well. I felt bad that I found a place and spent all that money on OK baked goods especially when there is another bakery my husband found literally right down the street from them that was amazing.
