Brooklyn Heights — Restaurant in Sandwich

I had see this place and wanted to try it after seeing their website. I should have ordered pizza, but wasn't in the mood so I ordered a foot long hot dog because the picture on the site looked amazing big bun, condiments on it with chopped onion. I then also ordered a cheese burger with Bacon listed as $2.00 extra on the website was charges $3. and a extra $1 for few slivers of red onion to be added to my burger. When I ordered I asked what condiments do you have that come on the foot long, kid says oh not sure I ask, like onion, relish and mustard, he was like I think just ketchup. I was perplexed as that's a staple for hot dogs. maybe It was my fault because its a pizza place. now in fairness I did not try their pizza and they looked good. So food came out in about 15 min. Tatar tots that came with the hot dog where nice and crunchy. The hot dog looked over cooked a bit but was in a regular hod dog bun, not like the picture on their site at all. I again asked if they had any relish or mustard. he came back with a coupe packets of mustard. Dog tasted good just wrinkled from over cooked, but the problem was with the $15.00 cheese burger, that's just a burger no sides. now the price is fair but what i got was two well done patties with no seasoning at all. just beef, a little salt and pepper would have gone a long way to helping with flavor specialty if your going to cook all the juices out of the thing. One slice cheese and couple thin slices of bacon. I don't mind paying for good food but the prices do not reflect the quality. This is just my opinion. Please go try their pizza. I don't like leaving bad reviews but my disappointment changed my mind on leaving a review. Specially paying almost $50.00 for a cheeseburger and foot long. and specialty soda. Ordered a small margarita pizza using their online ordering. Received message with order number and time to pick up. Went there and place was crowded. Have them my name and they had the order. I guess there was a disconnect between the order system and kitchen as the orders were not being sent to the area where they make the pizza. After an hour, I finally got my pizza. I should have realized when the woman who was working the counter opened the box and the pizza maker threw some basil onto the pizza and a few squirts of olive oil that something was amiss. In my haste to get out of there, I did not realize the box was for a large sized pizza. When I got home and opened it, what I was given was a large pizza with aforementioned basil spread on it. There were no tomatoes or ricotta cheese on the pie. The pie itself was not bad but lacked some mozzarella cheese in spots. All in all, I was disappointed in the transaction and service. I imagine being a newly opened business there are growing pains but you don’t pawn off a poorly made pie to a customer. I felt like a steak and cheese today and had some free time. I live in Yarmouth but I've seen positive reviews about this shop and people like the cheese steaks so off I went. It was a little smaller than I expected. There are 3 tables and I wanted to eat there but they were all occupied. The owner (very friendly) saw me looking around and told me "this is a community" so I asked if I could sit down next across from a man sitting there. He said of course and we carried on a brief conversation about the weather. Turns out he was waiting for a to-go order so by the time my order was ready (it was brought to my table, nice touch). I paid $16.00 for the sandwich and a bottled water. The sandwich was a nice size, not huge but definitely fair for the price. It looked good so I took a bite. It has been finished in the oven which gave the bread a nice crunch. The meat to cheese ratio was appropriate and the meat itself was of good quality. No stringiness and very flavorful. I did ask for hot pepper relish which they added. It was a little overpowering and even though I like it that way, I will ask for them to go lighter if I get back there.
