We had to go to Sandwich today so we stopped for lunch then for ice cream! Honestly we didn't need the ice cream, but when we were driving by I just about jumped out of the truck when I saw "Crunch & Munch" the Sulcata Tortoises in their pen outside! I made Russ stop so I could meet the tortoises and it only made sense since we were there to get ice cream too! The ice cream was delicious and the employees were so friendly. I also got to meet the owner, Greg as I of course wanted to inquire about the 2 Sulcatas, the 4 Red Eared Slider Turtles and the really cool skull Adirondack chairs! Greg was super nice and gave me the info for the chairs. His brother Brian makes them. If you want to have some delicious ice cream, meet some really amazing Tortoises and Turtles and support local then definitely stop by this...

On a friends camping trip to the Cape we were in Sandwich for two days and after getting ice cream at The Shipwreck the first night, we had to come back on our second day!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The ice cream selection is extensive and delicious!

Ginger was the winner for our group. I loved the ginger pumpkin combo I got.

In addition to great ice cream, there is a lot of charm at this place - you can take a peak at the tortoises in the fenced area in the back or lounge on fish or skull themed Adirondack chairs. There are quite a few tables for sitting and licking your ice cream.
