I must say, having explored various sushi spots and experiencing omakase in Atlanta, this particular restaurant truly stands out in terms of the exceptional quality of their omakase and sushi selections. The owner, Jackie, and the staff deserve a special mention for their amazing hospitality and service.
Chef Pov, in particular, left a lasting impression with his kindness and friendly demeanor. He went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I had a memorable dining experience. We were delighted to follow his recommendations, and we even had the opportunity to try his signature creation, the Chef Pov roll, which was an absolute delight for our taste buds.
With no hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend this place with a solid 10/10 rating. The combination of outstanding food, warm hospitality from Jackie and the staff, and the overall dining experience make it a must-visit destination for sushi...
Read moreFirst of all, if you don’t want amazingly fresh sushi in a place frequented by savvy neighborhood locals from the Jones Generation, all of whom who know the staff by name and vice versa, do not come here. If you don’t want to sit at a cute table with attractive pillows and textiles and get your own ceramic chopsticks rest and neverending green tea from a giant vat in the back somewhere, don’t come here. If you don’t want to drink wines that were actually thoughtfully chosen to go with sushi and Japanese flavors (including reds), … do I need to repeat myself? And the literal icing on the mochi (I realize this is a mixed metaphor) is they apparently look at what you’ve ordered and bring you a free dessert based on Miss Cleo’s Psychic Network or some AI generator. The boring cooked sushi table next to us got red velvet cake. We got green tea ice cream with whipped cream. Lord knows what they bring people...
Read moreDefinitely a restaurant for date night or something with 4 people or less. I went in a group of 6, and everyone seemed to be in a scramble as though it was unheard of for 6 people to dine together. I can understand that being the case if the restaurant were busy but it was practically empty. A reservation may solve this problem, though, so I won't hold it against them. The food was definitely good, however, I can find the same quality for much cheaper. The sushi itself was not overpriced (in my opinion), but the other entrees were nothing special for the price. Service was a bit inattentive. In short, it's good, but you can do some digging and get the same elsewhere with better service and at a...
