So originally I we were headed to Real Tacos up the street to stall time for our movie that started at 9:45pm. So we were passing this place by and I told my husband let’s try something new and it looked nice from the outside😫. One thing I hate is when I say let’s try something new and it turns out to be trash. I should have turned around the minute they said they didn’t serve tres leche. But I didn’t wanna seem rude and I can always order that particular cake from real tacos on the way to the movies. So I proceeded to dine at this location. I ordered four steak tacos she asked me what I wanted on my tacos I stated everything and she told me only two items are topped on the tacos so I asked if I can have shredded lettuce added and jalapeño peppers she told me that only cilantro and onions come on the tacos and to add additional it would be extra so I looked up at her from my menu and said “Ok” because if I’m looking at the menu and see that I have to pay to add why say that as if it would be a problem. Anyways I asked for my additional add ons. When I tell you this place lol brought me out the driest tacos ever. It’s not even funny smh no seasoning no jalapeño peppers loaded with cheese onions and cilantro and a drizzle of sour cream which I asked to be on the side. The tacos were so dry no taco sauce condiments or nothing just four dry tacos. So we used the dipping sauce they brought out with the chips as an appetizer. Literally…so I sat there with three tacos because I did eat one thinking the chip salsa would help(NO) so I sat there with three tacos trying to grab the attention from other waiters as they finished serving others, one looked me dead in the face and walked away so I got up and walked back inside to ask the bartender if he could send someone out with peppers and he stated he would do it himself so I stood there to wait and he said I can go be seated he’ll find me. Literally waited 5mins and he walked right past me as he proceeded to serve others. So I’m like oh nah I can’t eat these dry tacos and now they getting cold. So my husband got up to go look for servers to get me peppers. She finally brought them out and after I forced myself to eat what I paid 83$ for we left. The tacos weren’t 83$ out meal total was 83$ only because everything on the menu is literally 14-17$ or better. I’ve never ate at an Mexican restraint with such high prices for tacos and nachos 🤣 the drinks were to high and all we tasted was fruit no liquor. Just a...
Read moreI have a service dog that I usually take to restaurants with me and I have never had an issue at any other restaurant before (I have had this service dog for over 3 years) but I had the absolute worst experience here. Since they have a lot of outdoor seating, I asked to have a table outside and I was with a group of 5 people. The employee that was seating everyone told me dogs were not allowed (neither inside or outside). When I told them it was a service dog, the employee got very aggressive and demanded proof of my disability and why I needed a service dog and also wanted a copy of some specific type of certification ID card for the dog. I don't have copies of all my medical records just on hand with me 24/7 and shouldn't be required to disclose personal medical records to employees. This is also against the law: the ADA explains that service animals are not required to wear vests, businesses may not request any documentation verifying the dog is licensed/certified, and businesses may not inquire about the nature of a persons disability. It would be one thing if my dog was barking or misbehaving, but my dog literally didn't even make a single sound and was completely laying down on the floor panting. The employee continued to get agressive about it and so I eventually just said "Ok fine I will take the dog home". The employee went to seat the rest of my friends outside. I had a bunch of stuff in my hands and wanted to set it down on the table so I didn't have to carry it back and fourth. I went to go put it down on the table for my friends to watch and then I was going to go take my dog home but before I took a couple of steps towards the table the employee started yelling at me to get out and that I wasn't allowed. I explained that I just wanted to give my friends a few of my things (my water bottle and backpack) to watch while I take my dog home and asked if that was ok and the employee said no and kept shaking her head. I have never in my entire life experienced anything like this. It was incredibly unprofessional, rude, inappropriate, and not to mention a violation of the Americans with...
Read moreHusband and I use to live right down the road and loved this place! Last Friday we went for the first time in a very long time and our experience was terrible. Our waitress was very rude, impatient, and even shouted at the top of her lungs at my husband and I when she was delivering our drinks because I guess we didn't hear her the first time (this place is also very loud). I ordered a virgin mojito as well as queso with the jalapeños on the side. When our bill arrived I was floored to see that I was being charged $10.50 for a virgin drink and an additional charge for asking for jalapenos on the side despite it coming with the queso . When we brought it to our waitress' attention she said "that's how we charge virgin drinks" and was unapologetic. We asked to speak to the manager who was also very dismissive and defensive of their prices stating that when they put jalapenos on the side they have to ring it up that way or the kitchen doesn't understand the order...? He gave us $3.00 off our drink..... which still made my soda with mint way over priced. Needless to say we were very disappointed and will not be returning. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone else currently pregnant.. go elsewhere for your mocktail experience. Additionally, we were with a party of 6 and the waitress automatically added a 20% gratuity onto to our bill which frustrated me further after such a terrible...
