Heritage Sandy Springs Museum & Park — Attraction in Sandy Springs

I had my wedding there last August and it was a nightmare. The outdoor space was beautiful but the reception area was a mess. Where do I start with my experience with them. The gentleman that was suppose to set up the area was late and left early without completing the set up. My wedding party including me my, husband, children, and support system had to finish putting the chairs and tables down. When they arrived early before the rehearsal to do other assigned task. So of course my layout being totally different. The chair cushions were filthy and we were told to flip them so not only were we there setting up we’re changing cushions around on the table. My rehearsal was late due to this I missed my nail appointment and had to do it on my wedding day, like I did not have enough to do. I paid for a stone with our name and date and I am still waiting almost a year on information on where it is and what it looks like. We were told it would be ready on my wedding day and i hear on the day it was not ready. I am not having to recreate my wedding reception on my 1 year anniversary because I feel...

Working with the people at this venue, is a huge headache. The wedding contact we were appointed had horrible customer service. Wedding planning is stressful enough, and planning a wedding with covid in mind is even harder. Our point of contact for the venue, mesita fell short in numerous ways and was always hard to get in contact with. Our contracts that were made by Regina listed our names, address, and vital information that was needed listed wrong over and over again. Please make sure you read everything they send you 3 times to make sure it is correct, and do not sign anything until it is corrected🖤.The venue itself is beautiful. My firm held a workshop in the Heritage room for about 90 guests. David was very helpful and responsive, answering questions quickly and helping us get ready for the event. The sound system, A/V equipment and lighting worked perfectly and the space was very clean and ready for us to set up when we arrived. While there is plenty of space in the overflow parking lot, the lot adjacent to the facility filled up quickly and some guests felt finding the overflow lot was challenging (even though we provided them a map in advance).
