Enzo — Restaurant in Sandy Springs

The lunch benzo boxes are an out-of-this-world value. Ginger salad, hibachi style chicken, veggies, a generous portion of fresh fried rice, 4 pcs of California roll, and two pieces of deep fried sweet potato. It also comes with that "yum yum" sauce they serve at most other hibachi places. Everything comes hot off the grill, delicious and presented well in a compartmentalized decorative tray. During my visit at noon on a Friday they are at maybe 30-40% capacity and its relatively quiet. The service was fast and cordial but somewhat business-like. Smooth jazz is playing. Especially reserved are the older men working behind the counter who seem to loom like perched owls when not busy rolling sushi. The decor is maybe best described as japanese minimalist with a few touches of flare scattered about. A somewhat smaller sized place, there are maybe 12 tables and a sushi bar. My check came out to 10.46 before tip with the bento box and free-refill soda. Overall, this restaurant greatly exceeded my expectations and I'll definitely be coming back and...

My last visit here was on October 30, 2019. I had two other visits prior to my last. First visit was okay...requested Foto Maki a Traditional Japanese Sushi Roll that was not on the menu and also had Squid appetizer. Sorry to say I was not impressed...because it was bland without garnish it was just blah...Foto Maki was good when I sat and ate at Sushi Bar.

Second visit is a blur but I probably did not have any concerning issues except for the third and last on October 30, 2019.

A simple order of Sushi Sashimi with soup and salad was ordered. Soup was sour and lukewarm, salad okay Sushi Sashimi platter was okay except for one item of sashimi was smoked salmon I found unusual for Sushi. That was a bit of creativeness that did not appeal to me. To include the server seemed to be under pressure attending to multiple tables by her self.

My conclusion is there are other Sushi restaurants that can out due what they do their at Enzo that evening....my last visit was disappointing doubt I...

Gave me a lunch portion for dinner, the “owner” refused to handle the issue then I was told “we can just throw it away if you don’t want it” I’m paying over $25 for a meal (one person) that I’ve been wanting all day. I’m a regular customer here and would never write a review but was so annoyed by the time I left I felt like I had no other choice. WORST part about this, I got steak and scallops. The scallops were so disgusting I threw up immediately and most likely have food poisoning since I haven’t stopped vomiting. The “owner” told me to call the police. (After he told me his business insurance would take care of it lol. He then proceeded to tell me he didn’t have insurance for his business 😑) I’ve never dealt with someone being so unprofessional and blatantly rude to someone they made sick!!! This used to be my favorite spot and now most likely not returning. Unless it’s the lunch serving staff they are amazing, idk what the staff had going on...
