This is a no frills spot with okay food at a great price. This is not a spot where you go "to get eggs benedict and a cappuccino". I think it's a well run business that does a lot with limited ingredients which in turn limits their food waste and allows them to serve customers at a great price point.
Overall 4 starts with one star being taken away for a combination of: lack of creativity in the menu and pretty basic interior (can definitely be more cozy). Google doesn't rate pricing but I would give 5* in this category.
My unsolicited recommendations:
Consider adding a skillet section to the menu, same as your omelettes. I think you can make every omelette as a skillet (hashbrown base). Shrimp skillet was quite good but I consider shrimp to be a "strange" breakfast protein. You already use ham, bacon and such, so why not make them as a skillet? Consider investing in "skillet pans" to serve the dish in.
please have home fries as an option. People love home fries for breakfast
French toast would be better with Texas toast

My partner and I randomly chose this place to try out for breakfast. This place is a straight forward with no frills type restaurant. Which can be appreciated if you truly want a simple breakfast with no extra bells and whistles. They had a pretty large menu that is suitable for several dietary restrictions. It offered turkey sausage, vegetarian options, and seafood options. I chose the Grilled Shrimp with Grits, which came with 2 scrambled eggs and toasts. Additionally my partner chose the Deluxe Breakfast, which is your usual grits, eggs, a couple choices of meat, and pancakes. We were impressed with the portions and the customer service. However, outside of the pancakes..the food slightly lacked in the flavor department. I enjoy a balance in seasoning but I found that my shrimp which was cooked with peppers and onions left much to be desired. Nevertheless, the prices were amazing and I definitely plan to go back to try...
Read moreIt was our first time here. We came here on a Sunday afternoon around 1245pm. Location is easy to find in the Publix shopping center with tons of parking. Most tables were full but we were seated in 5 minutes. The restaurant was clean and open. Denise was our server and she was friendly, attentive and provided great service. The food was fresh, hot, delicious and reasonably priced. Took one star off due to how we were greeted. We waited at the front to be seated and noticed the only other female server waving us down from the other end of the restaurant. Her body language to us was someone very annoyed, when she seated us the look on her face was not friendly at all and when we tried talking to her she was very short. Maybe she needed a break but it wasn’t a good start to the experience. Denise and the food saved...
