I wish I could give them more stars but after the purchase and installation of a new car stereo system I found myself unhappy with the outcome especially how it was all sold to.me. I was told that the original equipment amp in my car wasn't compatible with the new unit and that it had to be bipassed. I was also told that it would work just fine but certain functions might not work. The next day I noticed that the rear speakers weren't working so it had to go back for that The price for the unit and installation btw cost about $1400. After having it a few weeks I noticed that it distorted at higher volumes so I went back again to figure out what was wrong and was advised to buy not only a new amp but new speakers as well. Another $1200-1500 they said would do the trick. After a bit of research and talks with people who did the same with their cars (same make and model car and same stereo) I soon discovered that this unit is completely compatible with the original amp. Hearing all of this, I went to another local shop (Cartunes) and was told the same thing but compatible only if I had the original wiring harness. SK gave me the original radio and amp and the metal mounting brackets but not the harness so I thought the harness was still there. But it wasn't and it wasn't returned, I ended up getting another amp installed. The original speakers are Bose and I was told they were all fine and with the new amp (or if the original was installed the first time around) I would not hear any distortion at higher volumes. They were spot on. With a $200 amp it sounds incredible and I have full functionality of the unit. I'd advise anyone out there to do a lot of research on car audio shops in metro Atlanta before diving into spending a lot of money. Personally, I'm very disappointed in SK for either not knowing all of this or chosing to leave it out of the conversation and leading me to believe that they knew what...
Read moreYou know what I wasn’t going to leave these guys a review but honestly I feel like I would be doing myself a disservice and other customers a disservice as well if I didn’t so here goes. I had a CB RADIO installed there because I was referred there by Ham Radio Depot. So when I get there the Guy name Juan made it clear to me that they don’t know anything about CB’s at all but they do install them. That should have been my first sign to leave right!! So I get the CB INSTALLED and I asked him do they know anyone that can tune and tweak it for me he said right off no. Soooo I found a guy and went there and he told me to take the radio out and bring it in ok no problem. Well there was a huge problem the first 2 pictures down below will show you that the Radio was zip tied into the bracket and not bolted in at all. If I wouldn’t have had to get the radio tuned I wouldn’t have found this out for years and of course I went back I was very very upset and Juan said they will fix it which they did and he would give me like $56.00 refund for coming back remind you they charged me $400.00 so $56.00 was disrespectful. Ok now the 3rd picture 2days afterwards that wire just fell around my feet while I was driving. Also they was suppose to have installed a speaker as well for the Cb which I can’t find under the dash and it’s also not working the only sound coming out is from the CB. So I’ve said all of that to say this if you still go use these guys make sure you check behind all of the work they do to your car before you leave there to save yourself a headache and Gas....
Read moreSimple job turned into a huge hassle. Paid over $800 for front & rear dashcam install and full window tint. First visit, 4.5 hours wasted—camera was never installed, the tint was left half done and incomplete, and my clean car was returned dirty with watermarks all over the exterior and stains on the seats. They washed it at the second visit, but that’s not the point.
On the second visit, the tint that was done on the first visit had to be completely redone because of poor quality, and the rear windshield was still not completed. They didn’t have the right tools to redo it as promised, which really made me question their professionalism—this is a simple window tint job, and a shop should already have the necessary tools on hand before accepting the work. The rear windshield tint that was applied had bubbles and poor workmanship. They told me to come in a third time once they had the proper tools, but scheduling became a hassle. I had to follow up multiple times, they made it difficult, and in the end they never got back to me with a proper appointment.
Because of this, I eventually settled with an overall discount they offered, but I still have to look for a different company to get my rear windshield tint properly done.
They refunded $461 in total, but the whole process was unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating. A straightforward dashcam and tint job should never have been dragged out over multiple visits with this level of...
