I ordered 6 subs today to celebrate a team member’s birthday at work. I picked up my order and took it back to work.
When I opened the bag in front of the team we discovered there were only 4 subs instead of 6. The receipt even showed me purchasing 6 subs.
I called the store to see if there was a bag I had not grabbed. They responded and said, “No, we verified that all 6 subs were added to the bag.” I let them know that wasn’t the case and that multiple witnesses could confirm that only 4 were in the bag.
Dominic was rude on the phone and would not listen. He kept insisting, “No, there were 3 employees that verified that all 6 subs were in the bag.” We truthfully did not receive 6 subs and just wanted to find a solution.
Terrible customer service.
It is frustrating when a store does not listen to their customers, implying they are lying about not receiving a good that they purchased but did not receive.
One of the employees eventually was great to listen to me and eventually remake the sandwiches. However, it was such a hassle to come to that solution and I ended up missing the birthday lunch for my team member.
I hope this can be a teaching lesson for store ownership to have a raining with Dominic on customer service...
