After the Wendy's nextdoor wouldn't take my order because I was paying cash and of the 9 people on staff, not one of them were assigned to the front cash register, I decided to go to Arby's.
Arby's only had 4 people on staff, and guess who was on their break... The front cash register employee. However I was only at the front counter for about 1-2 minutes and the woman who was slicing the meats for the sandwiches asked if I knew what I wanted. I told her my order and without hesitation she started making my meal. Less than a minute later and another employee was at the register (mind you not the person assigned... Hey Wendy's, get with the program) and by the time I was given my change my meal was sitting there in front of me. Not only was it fast and fresh, but it was good too.
I'm the meantime, the manager was working the drive-thru by herself and everything was running smoothly. Yes they were busy, but their employees were competent enough that it wasn't a challenge and they still provided service with a smile.
I was so pleased that I spent less time waiting for my food than I did arguing with the staff next door that I typed the lovely woman who made my food. She even came out to my table and personally thanked me which led to us stroking each other's ego. She was a sweetheart and as a guy (I speak on behalf of most men) complements are rare, so I loved it.
Overall, I had a great experience. I spent more than I planned on spending at Wendy's, but it was worth every...
Read moreI went thru the drive thru last night around 830. The girls working told me they were out cheese sticks. I get it yall run out of things.
Then we get up to the window and wait a HOT minute. They gave us our drinks, then we waited longer but could easily see the girls were joking around and gossiping and it took priority over their work. Also the ones hair was falling so bad out of her pony tail, I was nervous of hair getting in my food.
They had manners and were polite when they gave us our food. I get home and realize they gave us a totally wrong sandwich. I was annoyed bc they had plenty time interacting with each other, but didn't take the time to check if the order was correct.
Today I wake up sick as heck, like food posioning. So I can't help but wonder, if they messed up my order what other things are being mishandled like...
Read moreIf I could give a zero star I would. Customer service is gone. Store managers (not naming names but starts with an S and ends in a ANDY allowing their assistant manager same deal L and ending with ORI) to cuss at team members in front of other team members and customers. Store is never cleaned except at night and they refuse to staff enough people to lighten the load off of the only closer they had. Food is not kept properly and is left out most of the time. From April until now they have lost 8 employees because of that one lady. She even sprayed bleach water into a new girl's eyes. First day on the job and she quit because unsafe working conditions.
