Aroma Joe’s — Restaurant in Sanford

"I love aroma Joe's. Yes, there are some baristas that aren't consistent in this line of work, however 99% of the time my orders are exactly what I ordered, and made right. I also love that they have a rewards program for their loyal customers." Used to be what I say about this location, however, this aroma joes coffee house location has officially gotten me to give in and give an extremely bad review. I usually love their coffee, but recently, their coffee has gone down hill and its only happening at this one location. They will not be receiving my attention at all anymore. This is the 5th time I have gotten sick in the past 5 weeks from their coffee at the midtown mall location. Im sick of it. Literally. I am so done with the midtown mall aroma joes location. Either teach your workers the proper way to make a coffee and to properly clean up, or get new staff and teach them...

I have been here many times over the years and the ambiance seldom gets any better. The light fixtures themselves are well suited for the cozy coffee shop look I think they’re striving for but that is undone by the harsh daylight bulbs they choose to outfit them with. They have a constant fly problem which is disturbing because their sweets cabinet behind the counter never seems to be immune to them. They do have a very interesting bank vault tucked in the back corner with seating, but it’s pretty run down. Couch is pleather and peeling and the carpet in that area is office grade and very sad looking. That said, the coffee at Aroma Joes is always good and they have a large variety of drinks available. I would say that the manager owner could put a little bit of money into sprucing it up a bit and it would be a very cozy, attractive...

I generally have a good experience when going into THIS aroma joes in particular. Today on the other hand, was a different story. The girl working inside at the counter (between 1:30 - 2:30pm - 7/14/2016) was making another customers coffee when i entered. She took my order after and was polite, but she was more focused on talking to her friend (not a coworker) than actually getting the order right. Instead of a Irish kicker w/extra shot of expresso and sugar, we received a black coffee with extra expresso. Not impressed. This has happened several times with other staff too. Try being less...
