I was given a 50% off coupon to try out this new café in the Wal-Mart. The staff is friendly but they don't know how to make an espresso shot?? They said the coffee concentrate they use for their drinks is easier, I don't expect "easier" for an $8 drink.. I expect a quality drink. The coffee flavor was a bit odd, kind of acidic kind of like you let your coffee sit too long on the counter.
They used coffee concentrate but they have espresso machines on the counters. I asked is there an option to use fresh espresso since the machines were clearly there and they said they don't know how to use it. I feel that's very deceptive to customers
Very odd experience, I have never heard of a coffee shop using instant coffee for their lattes. If I knew that was the case I would have just grabbed a bottled coffee at the Walmart check out.
