Hardee’s — Restaurant in Sanford

I stopped in today for lunch (as I do everytime I'm in town for business) and ordered my usual $5 combo meal which normally includes a drumstick, thigh, a side and drink. The fried chicken here is very good and normally the service is as well but unfortunately not today.

After placing my order I waited patiently for it to be prepared. While waiting, a regular guest (as recognized by the line manager) came in and ordered the same meal as I but requested specific pieces. The cashier, not knowing what to charge asked the line manager and was told to charge the same $5. The manager then prepared that quest's meal and within minutes she was in and out... as I waited.

The cashier sensing my slight frustration then prepared my meal and handed it to me. Upon examination I realized that the pieces chosen were extremely small and I mentioned it to the cashier. She smiled at me... and did nothing. As I walked away I mentioned aloud that I wished I was the other guest.

First and foremost, I am not angry with the other guest. Obviously she eats there more regularly than I, especially to be recognized and called by name. What does disappoint me most is having to witness the preferential treatment displayed by the manager and her total lack of concern for my food.

You see a business that relies on the repeat patronage of "ALL" their guest (to maintain profits) should NEVER blatantly display preferential treatment to anyone. I walked away feeling that the value of my meal was less than anyone else's and I paid the same amount.

What I do know moving forward is that I won't be going back ever again and I will tell all of my associates to not patronage this location. Some may feel this a drastic measures. But in order to redeem the integrity of my experience, there is no other...

Came here as a last resort as it was the only restaurant nearby. I just got off work and I just needed something quick to eat before getting home. I went through the drive-through ordered a Thick Burger paid $4.27 After receiving my food I unraveled the wrapper and found the ingredients of my burger that appeared to have been thrown together with the top and bottom bun soggy. My onions and lettuce weren't even inside the burger I had to pull over and reassemble it. It was very quickly made and with horrible presentation. I wish I could display a picture of it. I laughed and ate it because I was starving, but it was annoying. I could've driven a little farther down the road and had gotten $4.27 of higher quality food. My mistake. Probably won't go back...

Make a long story short I ordered a monster burger and something told me to look at it and it wasn’t done it was pink! I waited a few months to go back to this location on Horner blvd and ordered my usual monster burger everything was made right until I bit the burger. Seemed as if someone accidentally put too much salt on the patty they had closed so I through it in the trash the next day I came to order something not knowing I was coming here and just told them about my burger the manager asked if he could see the burger so I brought it back and just like he asked me to go get the burger I waited on my refund and paid for the food I had just purchased! Didn’t want anything for free just want what I paid...
