On 3/15 around 5PM I went inside with my son to the Sanford, FL IHOP to place a to go order. This location is less than 5 miles from my home and I frequently go here when my husband and son decide they want breakfast for dinner. I have the IHOP app and I usually order ahead of time but my phone needed to charge and I just decided to go inside to order b/c there were less than 4 cars in the parking lot. The place was a ghost town with only one man and his young son eating. After I walk in, a couple comes in right behind me. A male server greets us all and I explain I just needed a menu to place an order to go. He hands me a menu and seats the couple. A few min later I'm ready to order so I stand b/w the front desk and the host stand. Less than 10 min later a lady and her son comes in and now a female server walks up and literally walks past me to greet and seat them. I'm looking like really??! So I wasn't trying to be rude so didn't saying anything b/c I just knew she was going to come back after seating them. Nope! Instead she walks straight to the back and now I'm frustrated so I hit the bell on the host stand and nothing happens. I waited a minute then proceed to hit the bell again 4-5 times continously then the male server pops his head out and says "we'll be right with you." Forget that! Now I'm pissed. I turn around to my son and say let's go b/c they apparently don't want my money. I left and drove to Texas Roadhouse and spent over $90 for 3 (people) and it was certainly worth the drive and time b/c their staff treated me with respect. There was NO Reason for that female server to ignore me let alone she could've simply asked who was there first. Read moreI ordered a breakfast sampler on June 8 & asked for it to be prepared a certain way. When I received the food curbside one part of the order was not prepared how I requested and the server had the cook remake what was incorrect. After the second attempt the food still didn't look good and the amount of grease the food was swimming in made my stomach turn. I requested a refund & was given a managers personal # to call the next morning to request a refund since there are no night managers at this location. I called & the voicemail had a different name (a guys voicemail) & I wasn't sure if I had the right number, so I hung up & called the restaurant. Spoke with Sonya who advised Theo, the manager, would call me back in 5 minutes since he was cooking. After 2 hours and no call, I called back 3 times & no one answered. Went to the store & the manager never came out but a server, Vicky, called Val another manager and Val advised her to take a picture of my receipt to send to the owner to have him refund the money. That didn't sit right with me so I called corporate and they also advised this didn't sound right and opened a case. I spoke with Val on 6/14 and she advised the owner wanted her to call to find out what happened so he could see if he would give a refund. I advised they had all of the information and all I need is my money back since I returned the food to them the same day. As of today I have not received a refund & Val has not answered or returned any of my calls. My bank advised it only takes 5 business days on their end and there are no pending transactions. This is bad business and very poor customer service and I want my money back ASAP. Read moreMe and my friend went for our lunch, I ordered the buffalo chicken tender with fries, the waiter said they were out of fries so I asked for mashed potatoes and gravy, my friend ordered steak tips dinner and asked if it can with soup or salad and he said yes and we had a to go order and my friend asked for the checks to be split. He came out a few minutes later saying the chicken tenders would be a few extra minutes because someone had to go get more so I said that was fine. He came out with our orders after waiting almost 30 minutes and I was given a buffalo chicken sandwich and no gravy. I didn't bother asking to change my order as we were on our lunch break and didn't have time to make a new order. We were given the checks and he out mine and my friends together, we asked for it to be split but it seemed he was bothered by that question. My friends bill came to over 20 dollars because he added a side salad although it was supposed to come with the meal. She asked him why it was on the bill and he asked someone else and said they no longer give a salad with that meal but did not offer to take it off the bill so she just paid it. My bill was $9 and change I gave a 20 dollar bill, my to go order was $18 and change, he came back with $2 for the 18+ bill and 1 dollar for my 9 and change bill. I asked him why I was only given 1 dollar back when I gave a 20 and he opened his wallet and gave me 10 dollars back. He did apologize and said that he was new which I understand but he was still very unprofessional and when he messed up he didn't even ask a co worker to help.
