Three times in a row my order has been WRONG and I was made to feel like it was my fault tonight. The kid that took my order said it back to me WRONG and I corrected him but he did not say it back to me. He then brought it to the table and when I told him it was WRONG he showed me what he typed into the register which was not what I asked for twice. Then not only was it WRONG but it was incomplete because he didn’t bring the cheese curds I ordered. I again told him what I wanted and he said he’d fix it and bring it back. By the time he did, my wife and daughter had finished their meals and when he finally brought the right order, he didn’t bring the cheese curds so I asked about them and he said he’d be right back. Not sure what his definition of right back is because mine would have been as long as it took to walk to the kitchen and grab any cheese curds that were ready to go but he didn’t do that. I had to go to the counter and remind him that I had not received all the food I ordered and paid for. I this is the third time in a row that something went WRONG when I’ve dined at this location. I wanted to speak to a manager but that never happened either and I got tired of waiting for one so I left after spending way too much time at a supposed fast food place. I understand that the food is made when I order it but I don’t understand why it’s always WRONG? I’ll be back and I’ll explain to a manager my three previous visits and ask him/her to oversee my order and see if they can get it right. Update. I went back tonight and my wife placed our order online and it said everything would be ready in six minutes so we drove straight there. Waited outside for 12 minutes until I decided to go in and ask what the hold up was. Our food was ready and sitting on a shelf so I made a comment about the poor service and was told to have a nice night. I guess I should have checked everything because my large unsweetened tea was a large sweet tea. I found this out after I pulled out onto 17-92 so I went back stood at the counter to be completely ignored so I had to ask for someone to fix this. She asked if I wanted another one. Really if I didn’t want this , why would I want another? I had to explain the difference between a seeet tea and an unsweetened tea. I did make sure to taste it this time and got a snarky comment followed by another “”Have a good night.” This place has the worst customer service of any place in town and that’s...
Read moreBeen loving Culver's for a few years. This location is solid. Everyone out front for the most part is fantastic. Great personality and follow through with your order. The people that bring your order always ask if you need anything and are happy to oblige. If anything is off, no questions asked, they'll replace or substitute as you like.
Away from the front counter: The soda and condiment/napkin area is often unkept and dirty. Lots of able bodies at this location to sweep the arsa hourly at least. Been in there when super slow and plenty of staff up front and no one takes the initiative to wipe and tidy. Surfaces near soda and tea often have spilled soda etc. all over, so much so that I will get napkins and wipe the area I'm using because I can't put my cup down to put a lid on it and so on. Disappointing.
Likewise the restroom, the Women's as that's where I go - gets minimal attention. Cleaning over all has continued to go downhill after the first year.
The on shift Supervisor should be that and not a buddy too timid or, sorry to say, too indifferent to care and crack the whip so to speak.
To the food: Burgers are burgers, it's Culvers so they're good. Salad greens could use a big upgrade for the price point. I eat salad . A lot. Culver's recently changed the grilled chicken breast and Yuck is the word. At $7 or more if on a salad that's not great. I don't really eat burgers, my family does. Grilled chicken breast was my go to and now it's a no. This has cut down on our visits by 50%. That's from guaranteed once a week with a $50 check total to maybe every other week and the total down to average $35 ish. I really like both the ice teas so they keep my personal interest going but much less with the rest of the menu. I'm the queen of the house meaning I do almost all the cooking so getting restaurant food and or rotisserie chickens 2x a week at my age (over 55) is locked in. Where we spend our away from home food money is not. Hope to see it, but doubtful they'll...
Read moreOn Grand Opening Day ::.
During the Culver's grand opening, we were greeted at the drive-thru somewhat similar to an ordinary visit to Chick-fil-A [welcoming]. The small wait was evident. We placed our order and received our food and drinks. It immediately became apparent that we received the wrong drink, which was promptly replaced by a manager. We then discovered we were short a concrete mixer desert upon arriving home [absorbed the loss].
The anticipated degree of scattered customer service was also evident. We stopped by with high hopes from Culver's promise on best ingredients, food prep, general grand opening advertisement, difference in food, quality, and taste; sadly, it did not hit its mark.
Taking into account the overall cost to value, the butterburgers* were quite greasy, prepared sloppy, and lacked flavor. The onion rings, fries, and shrimp were bland, and the milkshakes came short of any exceptional taste. The fish sandwich, on the other hand, was pleasantly thick and flaky, and we did receive quite a bit of ketchup.
For reasonable comparison here, you would likely have a better food and drink experience with Steak 'n Shake/Wendy's/Captain D's at a lesser price point or recalling a lackluster high school lunch during your youth. We even asked ourselves how the Culver's burger could possibly be priced anywhere near a Red Robin's tavern burger, e.g., red's double. [?]
The general household consensus and precaution comes shortly after eating Culver's food. We fell ill to our stomachs and unpleasant the next morning.
On satisfaction and the aforementioned level of experience, unfortunately, we conclude(d) with no desire to repeat business even if offered to provide a second opportunity at reduced cost while questioning measures of health.
First impressions, lasting impressions. Photos do not even come close.
