Update (1/29/19): Despite the fact that this is by far the worst McDonald's I have ever visited, especially in this area, I was left with no other options which resulted to my visit to the drive thru. I am literally 1 hour and 45 minutes passed the time I visited drive thru (Bank card had payment charged at 7:57pm - it is now 8:46pm). I had to pick up food for my kids, as I had to work late and was picking them up from their Grandma's. Since I live in Apex, and it was already late, I decided to grab them Happy Meals, as they love it and it is a for sure to eat for my picky eaters!!
Read moreWas there on 11/2 at 11:00 a.m. Ordered from the kiosk, hot mocha coffee. There were 2 people already waiting on their orders. A woman came up and told them they couldn't order breakfast because it was after breakfast hours. They explained that one of their employees had taken their order & money. So the lady starts asking around, "who did this?" very loudly. The people had waited a long time because they were waiting when I arrived, it had been several minutes by now. This young female employee comes up from, what I can only assume was her break in the dining room to yell back, "I don't know why everyone has to have an attituded around here! I'm ficking to leave outta here." (yes, it sounded like that). The other people get a manager and one gets her money back and leaves while the other one gets a different order. All the while, I'm still waiting on my coffee. Then my order disappears from the preparing screen. No one ask me what I'm waiting for, they all avoid me as they are still fussing at each other over who's fault it was. I finally get that manager (which he was not involved in the conversation), he was on the phone in the dining room. I asked him, "since no one is going to make my coffee, can I just get my money back and go?" He made my coffee, apologized, and gave me my money back. He told me that he was not the manager of that restaurant and was on the phone trying to get a GM to come over. Apparently, the manager left, with no one to supervise the employees. He was very pleasant and I felt sorry for him. He did make a good coffee. That restaurant was a total disaster. This was my first and last visit to...
Read moreMy experience at McDonald's this evening around 9:15 PM /18-12-2021 I sent this information to their corporate office for a potential bug in their mobile app software. But I am posting this to let people know about this issue and make everyone aware of the unprofessionalism of the nighttime manager in handling this issue. Screenshots of my mobile order are also provided. I made a purchase this evening at the "2502 S Horner Blvd Sanford, NC 27332" location. Ordered McChicken (w/Tomato) - 1.40 Small Fry - 1.69 (Deal) Large Fry - 1.00 Total - 4.09 Tax - 29 cents Total - 4.38 The above is what was sent through the mobile app and paid for by my bank. I get to check out, and I have to pay an additional - 1.91 to get my order.
I get in an email showing that I was charged the regular price for the large fries.
This is completely unprofessional and should not have happened. I showed the nighttime manager my bank statement through my phone, showing the - 4.38 Which was taken out of my account and processing. And she repeatedly told me that It declined my card, and I showed her again my bank account when she told me that it only paid partial payment. I gave the woman at the window - 2.00 and got - 9 cents back.
This should not have happened. To be told that I was declined first then told that I owed more is beyond frustrated.
