Adalberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Santa Ana

I was coming in from Lake Elsinore California and decided to take a detour to this restaurant being that I had a taste for some good Mex food . I ordered enchiladas plate (shredded beef), rice and beans and a side of sour cream which was $1.99. when I opened my food, and the side of sour cream I noticed it was liquid and runny. I stirred it & still It stayed in a liquid like form. So I went back thru the drive thru and told them and the older lady went and got another one and she said " all the sour creams are like that" . She could have offered me my $$$$ back, but she just said they are all like that and gave me the second one that she got to show that it was runny to. I've never seen or consumed sour cream that looked like Milk! It messed up my whole meal because I absolutely have to have sour cream with Mex food. Later in the night when I arrived home I reheated it and added my cheese from home on top of every item on my plate and used my own sour creme from home. And I still end up throwing out half of the rice and all the beans and 1/2 of enchilada . So them having watery sour creme totally destroyed the...

The shredded beef taquitos with cheese and guacamole are worth going for but I also tried 3 street tacos. Two were Pollo and I use that word cause I'm not a hundred percent sure it was chicken but the meat was low quality. My third taco was supposed to be carne asad but instead was an over-salted chunk of I assume El Pastor. Not sure what it was. The texture was really dry and stringy. It reminded me of when you get to the bottom of a bag of beef jerky and it's just the crumbs left. The tacos were topped with extremely wilted cilantro and soggy onions that smelled bad and garnished with 2 HOT (Not Spicy) but boiling Jot also bad-smelling limes. Sadly after $18 and a bunch of thrown-out food. I only have one opinion. It's not a good substitute...

Place sucks. Over priced, slow and just plain ol bland. I’ve been here twice (second time hoping they would redeem themselves) and both times it’s been bad. First time I got a chicken quesadilla for my kid and the chicken was spicy. The didn’t care to specify they had spicy and non spicy chicken and when I went back to exchange it they gave me an attitude. Second time, I got they’re Version of “carne asada fries” and the fries were over cooked and tasted like oil. Paid 15+ dollars for food I didn’t even eat. Idk what it is with this small fast food restaurants now a days but they dfntly need to go back to the drawing board when it comes to serving a quality product to the paying costumer. Don’t come here if you don’t want to be disappointed...
