I give zero stars, never done that before anywhere, but it was earned. My fiancé (female) walked over around 12:15am. It’s late, and dark, she’s female (more vulnerable), my car is almost on E, no one is in the line and no one has been for quite a while. They have zero business. They’ve shut down the inside, so the only option is the drive through. Her and I decide she’s gonna walk over and order at the window. Her presence is ignored until it becomes awkward enough that he walks over and sharades a steering wheel, indicating that she needs a car to order. She texts me and heads back (we are staying at the Motel 6). I call 3 times before he answers, and when he does, I ask for the manager. He claims that is him. I proceeded to explain that my car is on E and also takes over 10 minutes to warm up, and because the restaurant is directly across the street, and no one is in the drive thru, my fiancé decided to walk over instead. He angrily tells me that we must have a vehicle to order food right now. I peacefully tell him that money is money and no one has been there to order for a good while. I tell him she will be right back in my car and I’m in the middle of his review, so I strongly suggest he not treat this order poorly due to the situation. She goes back in the car. From the moment she he begins speaking through the speaker at the menu, I can hear his rudeness, because, yes, OF COURSE, I am on the phone listening. Twice he asks for which size she would like of two separate items. The first one is a shake. She pauses for a brief moment and he says to her,”we are getting ready to close”, indicating that she should hurry. (This is more than an hour before closing. They close at 2am and it was 12:52am. That’s a pretty big gap to me). Also, he had asked her what size and hurried her through the decision only to inform her that they only come in one size anyway!!!!!!! I told her to finish the order quickly, ask for lots of napkins, and get away from there. We are now here with our food. Of course we are wondering if it’s been spit in, or anything else. You wonder those things when you are treated this way at just about any restaurant. Everything we ordered is here, except the extra pickle packs apparently only contain three each. Okay.
Thank you for letting me know which Carl’s Jr. to mark off our list of restaurants to order from. If you are the manager, you should be fired, because you clearly understand nothing about customer satisfaction. We weren’t even rude to you. I believe you need to leave your personal issues at home and probably find a job you like much better.
To the person over this employee, who could blame you. You trusted him to do his job correctly. I strongly suggest he is reprimanded and then retrained on customer service, if not fired. We couldn’t even really enjoy our food because of what we went through to get it. Love Carl’s Junior, but prefer the one down the street more.
I absolutely hate writing ugly reviews. ...

Im dumbfounded. Literally, Never in my life have I ever imagined thought I’d be treated this way, especially being and the offense, rude, abusive and extremely derogatory towards my 11 yr old son and I. This manager/person who is dealing with customers needs help; and not in the way of the restaurant being too busy… but we are truly saddened due to the treatment, harassment and blatant delivery we received from this worker. My son was afraid to eat his food thinking the worker may have spit or something else cruel for no reason. The torment and lack of decency was completely uncalled for. It started at the window, while ordering, the person was already not happy and being disrespectful by yelling at my son. We get to the window, I reached out as far as I could to get my change, the same worker instead of handing me my change literally said to me oh well and just left it on the drive thru counter. My son got out and grabbed the change but was obviously feeling just as confused as I but more so felt dejected.
I atill can’t believe that a person flipped my son off and I while slamming the window and smiling…. I just feel bad for the gentleman and I hope no one else had to go through this treatment and I can’t support this establishment anymore because of this horrible situation and person. We are kind, respectful and always say please and thank you again. This is a completely uncalled for and all the way I don’t hope anything bad ever happens to anybody. I hope that this gets rectified and again not known ever else has to go through this treatment while paying for food at a restaurant let alone anywhere for that fact. I left a message on the phone number and signed that’s listed out front but I’m not expecting anything from this just warning the local community it is in Santa Ana. What should I expect? I guess, but being a local in Irvine and treating my son to Carl’s Jr. never ever think Would occur let alone again anywhere else!
I’m praying for you bud, cause you’re one heartless, angry and the coldness in your heart heals 😔💕 I hope your mistreatment, obscene behavior and whatever you might be going through today that caused you to act that way doesn’t get the best of you and you have a great rest...
Read moreRestaurants at all levels wax and wane. Much like Burger King, Carl's Jr. continues to fade. If from 12 to 1 pm, there are fewer than 3 booths occupied, no one in line, and a single car in the drive through, take that as a clue that something right is not being done. Simple things. Things like serving a cheeseburger with a party that is warm enough to melt the cheese, not beer as tough as sure leather (of course you must be old enough to remember leather shoes to understand that), and staff trained enough to understand the menu well enough that a native English need not repeat the order the times. I don't care who you hire or where they are from, but have to repeat a #5, burger only and a small drink, for better l here, is not really that complicated, until one learns that it costs more than the combo with unneeded and unwanted french fries. Why must it be cheaper to order food that is unhealthy, will be wasted and add methane when decomposing in a land fill than it is to...
