China King — Restaurant in Santa Ana

I’ve been coming to China King, do not remember that was the original name back in 1994 when I started going there. We would always get a chow mein fried rice, orange chicken, and the spicy chicken. I came yesterday with my nephew for my mother‘s birthday. We got three trays of the spicy chicken and three small containers of chow mein. Food is very delicious and fresh Mr. David, which is the cook is very kind, always happy, smiling always greeting everybody and is polite to his employees, he gave us some popsicles yesterday. I told the lady at the register that we came from L.A. and she said do they not have Chinese food over there? And I told her yes but we just come here just for the spicy chicken. If what you seek is a takeaway box absolutely jam-packed with goodness at a very reasonable price, you've come to the right place.

The egg flower soup is delicious. The hot n sour is a little too sweet for my liking, but that's a matter of preference. I had a shrimp dish that was delicious and my sweetheart really liked his kung pao chicken. The veggie rolls are perfect!

The place is clean and well-organized. It's ideal for an inexpensive meal with your family.

And above all, the people who work here are the sweetest. They take good care of you and take pride in what they do.

Absolutely goated. They really give you your moneys worth at a very generous price if you buy the plate that lets you get 4 things. My go to first things are white rice and chow mein. Their orange chicken has such a unique flavor and texture. I do prefer soft orange chicken over crispy. Mushroom chicken is also recommended. Atmosphere is nothing to boast but 0 to complain about and the staff is very friendly and more than willing to give recommendations. Been going here for 10+ years its my favorite...
