With only one date night a month- we decided to give this place a try. We are nervous because nothing is worse than overpriced and poorly cooked seafood- but what a great risk we took. We were greeted by the owner and when we said it was our first time- he brought out some seafood boil sauces for us to sample. Once I took a taste of the garlic butter sauce- I knew we made the right choice. We ordered king crab, clam, mussels, and shrimp boil in a spicy garlic butter and it was so good. Sauce was savoury and the seafood was perfectly cooked- not overdone and rubbery! Our only regret was not coming with more people- as we sat next to a birthday party and was so jealous of all the food on their table. Bravo to this super fun family run restaurant and the sweetest waitress in town- Cindy!

Definitely deliciously flavored and their medium spicy is perfect, not too hot. Get ready to have your hands covered in finger licking good sauce. If you like Cajun, this is a place that does it right. The area is clean and open. The server was courteous and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend this place. The only recommendation I'd make is that they could have larger french bread to go with the sauce. A small slice of french bread was going for $2.50. Just needed something to balance out all of that flavor.

Came here late in the day and it was well worth it. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant was very interesting, staff was extra friendly and the seafood boil was amazing. We had the Shrimp, Clam, and King crab legs combo. The seafood was fresh and high quality. The sauce was incredible. We are looking forward to repeat our visit!

We ate at the Crab Station, Santa Ana location yesterday after finding them on Instagram. We were had a busy day, hadn’t eaten all day and were so excited to try this place. We spent almost $400 at this restaurant and ate with my family. No biggie, we spend a lot on eating out and enjoy it. Everyone who ate the king crab ended up sick with what felt like food poising. Everyone else felt fine, it was only my husband, myself, my 12 year old son and my 9 year old daughter who got sick from the food.

I tried emailing to make a complaint, their email address on their site is invalid, I tried sending a message on IG, no response yet so today, I called the restaurant and was told by a girl who was working there that the Owner said they need hospital records and police reports filed if this is true because anyone can call in and say they’re sick but it doesn’t mean it’s true and was insinuating that we are lying because no one else has ever complained before.

I couldn’t believe it. Having run 2 successful family restaurants myself, I’ve never heard of such horrible customer service and lack of concern, ever. Not one apology, nothing!

It’s no wonder the place was empty on a Saturday night. I thought that was odd as soon as I walked in as most places that are good, usually have some customers but I figured we would give it a try anyway. Huge mistake and the food was honestly just okay compared to others we have tried before. By the time we left there were only 2 other customers in there. Lesson learned! I do not recommend this place!

I wouldn’t have even come here to write this review had they at least had some kind of sympathy or concern instead of immediately accusing us of being dishonest about this. We have no reason to be dishonest. In fact, I’ve NEVER had to write a bad review about anyone before! Extremely disappointed in this place...

We have been looking for a place to get a seafood pot worthy of our palate, and CrabStation Seafood Shack did not disappoint. We went in the afternoon on a Sunday, and it wasn't busy, so we were seated right away. Our server Katsu was very gracious and friendly. She regularly checked on us to see how we were doing. During our visit, several employees also said hello and checked on us. We spoke with the manager Holly, several times. She was very friendly and let us know a little history about the restaurant.

While we waited for our food, they served us edamame which was nice. For an appetizer, we ordered the Dragonballs and they were tender but not too soft. The fried crust was just the right amount of crispiness. The sauce that came with it has a sweet citrus flavor with a little bit of spice. For our main course, we had The World Series with clams, crawfish, and the Chef's Signature sauce. I'm usually not excited to eat crawfish but these were exceptionally good. The meat was sweet with a little bit of saltiness and very tender. The clams, snow crab, and corn we cooked just right so everything was neither too tough nor too soft. What made the dish however was the sauce. It was thick and had a smokey-sweet-spicy flavor that you will have to try for yourself to believe. My wife said she would love to eat the sauce with steamed rice, and I agreed it would be good just by itself. At the end of our meal, they gave us each a scoop of ice cream which helped to quell the fire if you know what I mean.

Thank you CrabStation for a very pleasant experience. We plan to be back next weekend...
