Partner and I were really excited to try this place and it was a huge let down. We ordered a burrito, a taco, and a tamale. The burrito cost $14 with cheese and is about half the size of a chipotle burrito, which while I was eating I was thinking how much happier I would've been eating a chipotle burrito. The burrito had rice, black beans, and unmelted cheese, for $14, so extremely overpriced. The taco was bland and again overpriced. The tamale was awful and didn't have anything in it, so just a complete waste of $30. The only thing that was good about the experience was the building this place is in. Save your money and go to either Chicana Vegan or Vegan by...

I've been wanting Mexican food and this really hit the spot. I decided to try their tames and was impressed with both. The jalapeño and cheese tamale was really good, but I truly enjoyed the mushrooms with red sauce. I was not used to the texture and still enjoyed it all. The sauce added just enough spicy heat to add to the flavor and experience. Being Vegan has not been as hard as I thought it'd be once I found gems like this place. Vegan or not, it's great food, and...
Read moreLa Vegana Mexicana may be the worst restaurant I’ve tried in many years. I tried the burrito with vegan chorizo, it was very bland and just tasted completely disgusting. I was upset I was charged so much for such a poorly executed meal. Chipotle is much better and much more satisfying than La Vegana Mexicana, I would rather have Taco Bell over this place. Even the miniature salsas provided no extra flavor or heat whatsoever. Their prices are marked way up to pay for rent @ 4th Street Market. The 4th Street Market is also a terrible destination in itself due to the lack of quality...
