I took my family you eat breakfast at this location this morning and the service was horrible. We stood in line for approximately 15 minutes waiting to order. We waited after 2 people who were waiting in line already when we got there and after they made many attempts to get the staff's attention, they walked out. We did see the kiosks where we can order however, we had since trouble trying to do so. Finally, one of us asked an employee if they could either help us at the kiosk or at the register but he proceeded to walk away without answering the question or helping us in any way. Finally, someone came back to the register and took our order after a very long time. The orders were talking very long as well and customers were asking very frustrated when they would be served. One employee screamed "we're very busy ok?" from behind the counter and made matters worst. The store did look busy, and very short staffed. The employees did look very busy and very frustrated, they were covered in sweat. Customer service looks like is an issue here but the store does need to address the staffing and proper customer service training in how to handle this type of situation. Nobody was...
ย ย ย Read moreSince early childhood, this has been the one McDonald's I call "Mickey D's" because of the many affectionate memories associated with going here with family and friends.
I've never had a negative experience with staff; everyone from managers to janitors are always kind and personable. As my dad's go-to pre-work breakfast joint, we often stopped in for the Big Breakfast on our way to beautify homes of the upper crust South County-ites.
Prices of most meals are affordable, and in my opinion the most especially budget-friendly is the Big Breakfast and ice cream cones! Whenever I'm broke, I find the $1, $2, and $3 menus very helpful.
Currently (as of September 2020) due to remodeling, the doors are closed to customers, but drive thru is open as well as mobile ordering for curb pickup. The latter works for those of us who lack a vehicle to use the drive thru!
This McDonald's is almost always fairly busy (probably due to great customer service and decent prices) but somehow manages to remain super fast and efficient, plus keeps up a cozy ambiance...well, when the indoor dining opens...
ย ย ย Read moreWas craving a hot fudge sundae, so I went to a McDonald's in Santa Ana on 17th Street west of Grand Ave. Waited in one of the two very long drive-thru lines only to be told at the flickering menu that they didn't have ice cream at that time. This was at 9:30 p.m. on a warm summer Saturday night. So I went to another location in Orange on Chapman west of Main Street. This line was literally backed up into the street. Ordered my sundae at another flickering menu. By the time I got to the window, the ice cream was melted. Clearly they made it too soon. All together, it took me just over an hour to get a melted sundae. And by the way, these aren't sundaes. They are ice cream with fudge. A sundae also has whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry. They used to at least have nuts in a separate, sealed plastic pouch, but not anymore. And why aren't employees trained to say, "thank you?" I always say it to them. Those who respond usually just say, "you're welcome." Don't they realize that paying customers should be thanked for their business? It's such a disappointing...
