Niki's: A Hidden Gem for Authentic Pakistani Cuisine

Don't let the small, unassuming exterior fool you - Niki's is a culinary treasure trove. This Pakistani restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic, flavorful dishes.

From the moment I took my first bite, I was blown away. The chicken karahi was a masterpiece, bursting with rich, aromatic spices and tender, juicy chicken. The biryani was equally impressive, with its perfectly cooked rice, flavorful meats, and fragrant aroma. And let's not forget the nihari, a hearty and comforting stew that was simply divine.

The naan was fresh, soft, and the perfect accompaniment to any dish. The service was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. While the restaurant itself is small, the cozy atmosphere adds to its charm.

If you're looking for a hidden gem with incredible Pakistani food, look no further than Niki's. It's a must-try!

Have to mention....the kheer was creamy and delicious...with some...

The "world famous" Karachi chicken was delicious, full of spices and flavors as well as hot chili peppers. It was served in a wok itself directly from the fire. Chicken curry was different from the watered down curry served elsewhere. This is a real homemade curry with different types of spices in different amounts. Garlic naan was fresh. Gave generous portions of rice for one order. Daal was probably my favorite because it was unlike most other places where daal is usually not fresh and dull. The daal here has a kick, and it is addictive. I just couldn't stop eating it. Chai was chai, and mango lassi was mango lassi. In other words, nothing unusually better or worse but they tasted like they should. The cashier girl was friendly enough. The prices were reasonable enough. The place was clean enough, too. Not fancy, but good enough for a hole in the wall. I would like to try more stuff here, so...

I went here with another coworker based on an Indian coworker's recommendation. One word, delicious. Easily overall the best Indian I've ever had. My coworker said it was very delicious and authentic. They were so nice and even offered us free add on like extra naan and chai tea. We got the combo #4 with the beef kabob which came on a cast iron skillet. Everything that the couple had besides us smelled equally as good. Definitely will be back and recommend to anyone. Good prices and definitely a hole in the wall that is worth the visit. They had a few tables outside for outdoor seating. I can see why he referred us to this place even though it was 20mins from work. My coworker has never disappointed in terms of his recommendations and he said this is one of...

It was my 1st time here. I don’t like dark meat too much so we requested them to use boneless chicken. They did not tell me that they were gonna charge me double for the karahi chicken. Roti was so hard that it hurt your gums while chewing. Last but not the least I order a tea. So the girl fill up tea in a foam cum and was putting in microwave to warm up, my husband said it’s not good to warm up the tea in foam cup in microwave, so she put it in regular cup warm up the tea and gave us in a cup. Overall food was not that great, boneless chicken was from chicken tikka recipe but they just served with chicken karahi. It was too too oily. Excessive amount of oil in karahi.

I have heard great things about this place. We were down the street from them, and my son suggested we try it. He only likes Butter Chicken from Urban Punjab and was disappointed not to see that on the menu. They told him that chicken Tikka masala and butter chicken are the same thing, so we decided to try it. We also ordered Chicken Karahi. It had very strong turmeric flavor, which was a little too much for me, but my son enjoyed chicken Tikka masala. He said it's not butter chicken, but it's really, really good, and he will definitely have it again if we are in the area. Overall, the service was good, it's a small, modest restaurant and has a very decent menu.
