Here is a real review about Open water Habitat, Santa Ana. My husband and I went to this shop to look for an O'Neill wet suit as they are unfortunately the only local dealer of these dive suits. But be warned!! The suit we were sold at full price was outdated at least 8 years. I questioned the zipper not being the same style and was lied to by Gary who told me that it was a "special ranger" version. I didn't really fall for it but went ahead with the purchase as my husband really needed a new wet suit and will only use this brand. The whole way home we questioned the zipper. When we got home and unzipped it we saw the yellow firewall technology which was many seasons ago. There has since been red and now blue. We were given false information and lead to believe we were purchasing a product with new even better technology and it was really old and from seasons ago but we were charged the full price of the suits from this season. All of this was after waiting about 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that we were in the shop. And the only reason that anyone even came out is that another customer came in and walked all the way the back to drop off a tank for a fill. We were then acknowledged a few moments after he spoke with them and told that he would be right with us, and that he was filling a tank. Now, that tank came in after us and we were ready to spend $400.00+ and told that he'd be right with us... Then we had to wait another 10 minutes... Won't be going here again.. actually found the newest suit on Amazon for $80.00 cheaper... Doesn't make you want to support the local dive shop... Sad... Especially when it's dirty and their is paperwork everywhere. Bankers boxes full with bills, etc. piled around the wet suit area. Just a real...
