I never thought I'd ever leave a review especially to any Starbucks since I used to be a barista for Starbucks as well.... It upsets me because this location is closest to my work and I always come here. In the beginning it's been good no issues. Ever since I started ordering my Iced White mocha everything changed. It's supposed to be with blonde shots and got regular shots and I literally get to work shaking so bad cuz I can't handle regular shots especially for someone who's not much of a coffee drinker. Pink drink has always been my thing but iced white mocha when I actually needed it. They never swirl their drinks when it comes to drinks with the heavy sauce (white mocha, dark caramel, etc) . Now also when I get my pink drinks it's too sweet it's more base than coconut and I would have to continuously ask for coconut milk on the side. Twice already they have been giving me the iced white mocha with regular shots and not blonde... so I would go to work shaking so much. I would even try calling 5 times and went straight to voicemail.. so I had to go back the next day to get it remade. Now yesterday I asked for a ham and Swiss croissant and instead got a ham and Swiss baguette and I obviously can't eat that because of my braces, it's hard. That same day I even told the guy at the window saying I only wanted to use my stars on the drink and I’ll do apps pay. Instead he used my stars on both drink and food. I was really really upset especially because I’ve been saving up all those stars… and still I had patience. I still smiled and said that’s okay and left. I went back to today to let them know about what happened and they got this lady "manager?" She came up to me and said "every time you come here you're always upset about something" like really ? I'm not doing these things on purpose and she literally told me why didn't you let us know before you left the window? I had cars behind me and I was handed my drink right after I got my food. Sorry I didn't have time to check . They even messed up on my pink drink today too and I was so mad and them that I didn't even want to ask for more coconut milk on the side. I was so close to even telling them off at the window including the manager because I've also had so much patience about her baristas and shift leads. Especially the girl on the window I see her all the time when I go to their Starbucks and she's always having a rude face and other times she talks to her co workers while she's handing me the stuff like I'm sorry but that's just so rude. Your conversations with your friends are more important than your customers because it seems like you don't even want to make eye contact with us. This location is far worse than any other. And as a former barista and a customer, I know exactly how all these customers feel. This location needs a change. Big change. And change the attitude as well. And actually pay attention to us. Whoever the lady I was talking to at the window telling me that every single time I come in I’m always upset with something, this is exactly why. I’m not sure if it was the manager at the window like I mentioned, but yes this is exactly why. I’m not doing this on purpose to keep getting free stuff. Because yes I also do understand there are customers who does that and will make up whatever possible to get free things, because I have had that happen when I used to work at Starbucks. Like I said as well, this location is the closest to my work and less busy and I know I can always count on this location knowing I will still make it to work on time. But the attitudes your baristas/shifts gives ? It’s a big no no. Because half of them looks like they don’t even wanna be there. I got so speechless today at the window after you told me that because it’s like really ? It honestly sucks and knowing all the other locations are so busy, otherwise I would’ve gone to a...
Read moreWorse Starbucks ever! I can't wait to write a one-star review for this location. The drive-through screen is broken at night. When I pass to the order point nobody talked to me. It's natural that I got out of my car to talk to them and made sure they were not working. Then I waited in between the order point and the window. So strange - this guy started to talk to the next care behind me and processed his order. OK - I guess the guy in the Starbucks must be busy or sleepy so this guy did not notice me. So after the order process was behind me, I just walked out of my car again and talked to the order broken screen with a mic to explain the situation and let's do order. He refused to process the order for me and asked me to drive around the super long drive-through line (like another 10-15 min) and order again! He said it was my fault. However, it's easy just to manually process an order and I told him it's your problem to not post a note on the un-working screen like "TALK TO ME, I'M WORKING/ALIVE", and it's your problem to miss my order since you DID NOT RESPOND my sound. OK - then another lady probably his supervisor also joined the talk through the order mic and said it's all our fault, we could drive all the way out (another 10 minutes maybe) then park then order again, or just drive in line again. OMG- How stupid they are? I keep telling them the logic, they simply said it's everything my fault...or talk to the next window. So I follow the drive-through line and eventually arrived at the point of the window. The man inside the window guessed it was me. He did it on purpose to talk to someone on his headphone without my existence (without a gesture or sorry on his lips). After 15 seconds, he came to me and said "You can not order now here at the window" - OK it's so obvious you refused to talk to me because you want me to drive away myself even without discussing any chances. It's so rude! I can not believe Starbucks - this kind of supposedly customer-centric store could have such so-stupid/rude people to serve us. OK. Then it really drove me here to write a one-star review to wish them to improve. Otherwise, another poor customer would be you for sure without any doubt at this Starbucks location 1248 17th St, Santa Ana, CA 92701. Don't be so happy about their flexible opening time, you could be the next angry customer writing another...
Read moreI’ve been going to this location for years and have never had an issue. Just recently I noticed this barista and she has been giving be really unsettling service. Usually when people tap to pay (Apple Pay) the barista will confirm the payment went through but just yesterday after my husband paid all she did was retrieve the device, turned her back towards us and shut the window while we waited for that confirmation and for her to turn back around so we can thank her after a few seconds we realized she wasn’t going to turn back around and all we did was shrug our shoulders and checked his account to make sure he got charged. I’ve had to change my name on the app just so she doesn’t fill my cup up to the rim with ice. I don’t know who she is, never seen her in my life ever. Unfortunately I’ve tried giving her the benefit of the doubt by thinking maybe she was just having a bad day. Today was the 5th try and whatever she has going on is personal. I won’t be going back there anymore and will go to Dunkin’ Donuts only because I don’t want to have so worry if she put anything in my drink. We truly don’t know what others intentions are sadly and I want to play it safe. Hope she has better days. I wasn’t really able to read her name tag, what I got was Anahlya but I’m not sure if I got it right all the way since it was a bit hard to read. She’s a bit on the heavier side with tattoos on her...
