Was excited for having a christmas dinner at Crocodille on christmas day, so I arrived at 5.50 pm for my dinner reservation at 6 pm on christmas with family. Was seated at 5.52, place was very nice and all. Ordered appetizers. ,soups and entreess. 25 minutes in, i asked if any of our food come anytime soon, and server said "shortly". Another 10 minutes and server came back with a spoon for the soup. Waiter was trying to avoid eye contact at all times, another 15 mins i have to raised my voice in order to call someone. After i called in 6.50 pm , all of my food came at once, there is no set order as soup or appetizer first literraly steak comes first. And when i asked them why everything came at once, he simply responded you ask for the food to come together ( i never mentioned anything about my food coming in together ) and i just stared at him while he tried to justify his reason and then he changed his excuse to its christmas and it is very busy. Lobster bisque was similar to what i bought from costco, there is no addition or anything, they put an automated gratuity at 20% which i dont mind paying since i dont know if the waiter the cooks or the management was just bad but fyi this place is not worth the...

Not good experience here today for my birthday lunch. Was with my parents, three kids, and husband. Ordered at 1:00, not busy at all. Kids menu had no protein options (cheese pizza, grilled cheese, mac and cheese, or spaghetti noodles with butter), so my daughter ordered a burger from the adult menu. I got Caesar salad with chicken. Thirty minutes later no food, no check in from staff, other tables getting their food, super hungry kids. We went in and asked if they had some crackers until the food was ready and they said yes, but then no one came out. Ten more minutes passed and they brought the food but my salad had no chicken, and they told us the kitchen lost the pizza orders which was why the food took so long. They did take my salad back and add chicken. The food was honestly not great either, with exception of the kids pizza which was very good and my boys loved.

While we were waiting and not being checked in with, we decided a 10% tip was appropriate, but they handed us the check with an auto 20% gratuity which felt not appropriate at all. We will definitely...

8/22/23 Update: What can I say, solo for breakfast, ordered a Swedish Pancake 2 eggs over med; specifically requested the brown swirl of jam they normally put on the pancake removed. frankly, I don't like it and asked to exclude it. My waiter seemed new, but he did not speak english very well. So I got the feeling I made a big mistake by changing what most quick cooks do. The meal came back with the brown jam swirl on the pancake, just as I received it before and syrup on the side. Asked to make it again without the well you know, came back with plain pancakes, a dish full of jams and syrups, the a fruit bowl. Ok, two for two, explained to another person that spoke english better, no brown jam swirl- thats it! Oh, and my two eggs were cold. They took the eggs and plate. Redo PERFECT! I still tipped 30% because it was not the cooks' fault, and I like coming here once in a while for dinner and breakfast. I hope the staff understands...

My fiancé and I came here for our Anniversary dinner Sept 24th 2025. We are originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, so are used to spending a pretty penny for a good meal. I got the Rosemary Chicken with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Vegetables, and he got the Shrimp Mediterranean Pasta Special. He got the Club and I got the Mojito from the bar menu. We ended dinner with the Croc Lemon Cheesecake. Everything was fantastic. The chicken was so juicy, the shrimp tasted fresh; everything on each of our plates went together perfectly. The dessert was creamy and one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. The drinks were great as well. 11/10 would come back when I visit Santa Barbara again.

This is a real gem. Don’t be put off that it’s in a hotel. The food here is truly excellent. The restaurant has a nice patio if it’s warm. It’s clear this is where locals go, and with good reason. Portions are generous and perfectly cooked. I had the eggplant parmigiana which was delicious. My spouse had salmon piccata, also really excellent. We’d done their happy hour prior to dinner, this was also a relative bargain. Drinks are well done here. If there’s any downside is that parking is in the hotel lot and we had to park in the back. Still easier than downtown. We’ve eaten in many Santa Barbara restaurants and this is one we’ll be back to.

Anchors Lemon Tree Inn and our dinner was terrific! I started with a cup of their award winning clam chowder! It was SO good! A few drops of pesto were on top, the flavor was great! Then I had grilled prawns on sofrito rice with grilled vegetables. They really grilled veggies on open flame and drizzled balsamic over them. Our server, Sergio was attentive, friendly and accommodating. We asked about outdoor firepit and he asked if we wanted to make reservations for one. He told the hostess who immediately came to our table so we could book it. Friends met us at the firepit for cocktails! Great time!
