Chubbies Hamburgers — Restaurant in Santa Barbara

The people working there are honestly really hard to communicate to... The cashier kept awkwardly gazing at me after I tell her my order like I just cursed her out or there's something wrong with me...it was so wired, she kept getting my order wrong over and over to the point the cooks had to chime in and tell her... I was embarrassed to keep ordering already... I could hear her arguing with the cooks that it's not what I said when In fact It was... everything I was saying was met with bizarre amazement, awkward silence and shaming gazes... food is alright but a bit pricey for the quality of it...(which is previously frozen burgers and fries) they have an extremely tiny menu of about 4 items which begs the question? is it really that hard to cut some fresh potatoes to fry and get some fresh ground beef? Costumer service is non existent...

So, ordered my food and sat down.some guy comes in to see where his milkshake is and they mistakenly hand him my bag. I watched him rummaging thru it, he then I forms them it's not his, oh says the woman and pushes the bag towards me. I tell her that I'm not eating fries touched by someone I don't know. Somehow this amuses the three behind the counter, so I watched the griddle and the fryer. I was then offered the same bag of food which had been put in a warmer, the fries were the same fries, all in the same bag !! Bun wasn't toasted, it contained pickles which I had asked for no pickles and raw onions. No onions. Didn't offer me the combo either and I got a Pepsi. I will never go back. I was on my way home when I stopped off in Santa Barbara to grab a bite to eat. I didn't want to walk down State Street with a ton of tourist so I looked up near by burger joints and found this one. The menu is very basic...burger, fries, shakes and fountain drinks. The place was clean and well kept.There are no add-on options like bacon or avocado, like I usuallylike to add.
