I have had the pleasure of visiting Egghead Sando Cafe twice, both times for take-out, and I must say that their breakfast sandwiches truly stand out as some of the best I've had in a while. The Ultimate Sando and the B.E.C were both incredibly satisfying.

During my first visit, I patiently waited for about 30 minutes and was rewarded with a fresh and delicious sandwich. The eggs were cooked to perfection, avoiding the common pitfall of being overcooked. Although the sandwich was a bit messy to eat, it only added to the overall enjoyment of the experience. The flavors were exceptional, and I couldn't help but describe it as "amazeballs."

On my second visit, I decided to order through the website and picked up my order when it was ready, which took an additional 30-40 minutes. While the wait was slightly longer, it was well worth it once I took a bite of my sandwich. The consistency in taste and quality confirmed that Egghead Sando Cafe consistently delivers on their exceptional breakfast sandwiches.

While I can't provide extensive insight into the other items on the menu, as they appeared to be a bit overpriced for beverages, I can wholeheartedly recommend returning to Egghead Sando Cafe solely for their sensational sandwiches. The attention to detail, the perfectly cooked eggs, and the delectable flavors make it an enticing destination for breakfast or brunch.

Revising my initial rating and review, from one star to four! There’s been noticeable improvement. Service is friendly and prompt, the menu items are good and fresh. A plus I think, is that they are in the Hub On network, a simple and effortless idea that increases foot traffic in this vibrant nook of Rivermark Plaza. That’s what brought me back, we use Hub On every now and then for our own small business. I ordered during a couple of pick ups I made there on non-rush hours. I’m just waiting for a chance to see what it’s like during a peak hours. That might make for a five star rating. So please ignore the review below.

Service SUCKS! It took 30 minutes for a salad and breakfast burger to come out. I counted at least four customers who went to the counter to ask for their food. We came in around 12:20, and got our order around 1:00 pm. The food wasn’t even that good, we’ve had better for less cost. The burger patty was thin like a slice of ham. Salad portion was small. Bring back BELLY RUB at this location! Just go somewhere else. Lots of parking but there are better places to eat in at Rivermark Plaza. Menu isn’t very kid friendly. Wheelchair accessible, but don’t go here if you don’t want to wait a long time for your food. Some guy in the back said the printer was down. And it seemed that they waited too long to resolve the issue and get the food out. Come on, when your POS system fails, then be ready to write things down. They need adult supervision. Did I say BRING BACK BELLY RUB at this location? Or improve the service, whatever.

Egghead Sando Cafe is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Santa Clara. As a frequent DoorDash orderer, I was immediately struck by this cafe's commitment to fresh ingredients on my first order. The buns, in particular, are a standout feature - fluffy, slightly sweet, and able to hold up perfectly under the weight of the sandwich fillings.

It wasn't until my first in-person visit to their Dt San Jose location (that I previously reviewed) that I fully appreciated the cafe's commitment to quality; I saw their ovens and get this, they bake their buns fresh every morning! Plus, the upbeat music and friendly, smiling staff created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. The food, as always, was top-notch. My go-to order is the scrumptious Scramble, but my wife swears by the Chic, a delectable brunch/lunch dish, and the Eggy. I’ve treated myself to the best breakfast places I can find and I’ve never had something like the Eggy where you dip bread into a breakfast concoction; just try it, it’s so unique and creative! One of the highlights of the meal are the Tator Tots, they are crispy, fluffy and perfectly seasoned (and reminds me of my favorite part of school-lunches back in elementary school!).
