In the shadowed streets of Santa Clara lies a culinary treasure known as Poke House, a haunt where the spirits of sushi converge in a symphony of flavors that bewitches the senses. As I ventured into this ethereal establishment, I was greeted by an ambiance steeped in mystery, where whispers of tantalizing aromas drifted through the air like the haunting verses of a forgotten poem. Within the dimly lit confines of Poke House, I discovered a world of culinary wonders that transcended the boundaries of mortal taste. Each dish, crafted with the precision of a poet's pen, beckoned me to partake in its divine secrets, promising a journey through the realms of gastronomic delight. Behold the customizable poke bowls, a canvas upon which diners may weave their own tales of flavor and fancy. With a myriad of ingredients at their disposal, patrons are invited to create culinary masterpieces that rival the works of the great bards of old. But it is not only the poke bowls that enchant the palate at Poke House. No, dear reader, for within these hallowed walls, one may also find an array of sushi rolls and sashimi, each a testament to the artistry and skill of the chef. And what of the service, you may ask? Fear not, for the specters that inhabit this establishment are not of the malevolent sort. Nay, they are but friendly phantoms, eager to guide you on your culinary journey with a grace and hospitality befitting a king. In conclusion, let it be known that Poke House is a veritable haven for those who seek solace in the embrace of gastronomic delight. With its mysterious ambiance, tantalizing dishes, and ethereal service, this establishment is a testament to the enduring power of culinary artistry.

I’ve been a longtime customer of this location and I was previously very happy with the freshness and variety of their food. Unfortunately, things have changed. 1. They’ve recently hiked their prices up pretty significantly. A large bowl is $19.50, this is higher than similar restaurants. 2. I found a sharp plastic shard in my food on 2/17/22 (photo attached) that I nearly choked on. I emailed their management over a week ago and have heard nothing from them whatsoever. I expect, at the absolute bare minimum, an acknowledgement of my email. 3. (This doesn’t personally offend me, but I do find it unprofessional). I was here several months ago and the employees were blasting profanity laden music loudly. I could tell some of the customers were uncomfortable and I personally thought it wasn’t the best idea. For these three reasons (mainly #2) I won’t be back.

My family spent $55 here on three bowls. They were training employees. I went first and got a small bowl. My other family members went after me. No one offered me krab salad. My other family members were offered it. I went back before I took my first bite to ask for krab. The manager said no since the bowl was already “out.” I understand the hygiene issue. So I asked for a scoop in a new bowl. I was told they’d have to charge me. Even though it was their mistake. I said they were training and can’t they make an exception. “No. Sorry.” I will not come here again because of the poor service. Too bad because the food looks good. And the tables outside are all unstable, so FYI for anyone who wants to enjoy their meal outside.

Wowww. This place was amazing. This may be my second poke place next to spoonfish poke in downtown San Jose. They have an amazing menu and even hot poke bowls with crispy or grilled chicken. They have multiple sauces to choose from which makes for and even better experience because who likes dry poke bowls? They have some of the best sushi rice too- it was cooked so perfect too... s/o to the staff as well. This was my first time there as a new resident living in Santa Clara and they were so friendly and nice to me which makes first visits so special.

I got a medium which comes with 3 proteins. The great thing about this place too is that a free crab salad scoop comes with your poke bowl. I got cucumbers, mango, pineapple, and a garlic unagi sauce tuna, a spicy miso sauce salmon, and a spicy tuna (3 proteins). Omg that garlic unagi sauce ahi tuna was some of the best I’ve ever tried. I got a house sauce, a lime ponzu, a spicy Siracha aioli, and a miso sauce. My toppings were: nori and crunchy onions, I also got ginger and avocado slices.

Dang! I wass suuuuuper impressed. Probably one of the best poke bowls I’ve ever tasted. One of my favorite fruit is mango and having that to add is a GAME CHANGER. I think the quality of their sauces and the options of multiple just put them in top 3 poke places. I will def return. This was so flavorful and delicious! It put me...

I was here to pick up an oder(from ToGoodToGo). The cashier girl in jeans looked at me in my eyes as if i am some sort of weirdo. I have to admit I was a little bit confused I didn't know where to pick up the order Or who to ask There was no sign for too good to go as for doordashers. And when the two gentlemen in front of me finished with checking out and there came my time, She just WALKed away from me And went to the back kitchen Without asking What do did I need or how I can be helped. And when she get out of the kitchen she walked away right in front of me AGAIN.

I just get really upset but luckily the another lady named Melody Nicely answered my question and helped me with my order. It's a big size bag of nicely frozen salmon. And as I was working out of the store, I notice the girl in jeans was scooping out rice from the rice cooker, but she wasn't wearing gloves like the other ladies who worked here. I assume she might just want to help as her position could be cashier only but i'd like her to know, better wear a pair of gloves if you were doing the preparer's job.

not such a pleasant experience. hopefully it's gonna get better after more training on how to offer help to waiting customers but not just walk away in front of them without...
