Good affordable Vietnamese food. Not oily. Tried the Grilled Pork plate and Crispy Egg Noodle dish. Grilled pork was well seasoned with sweet and salty taste. Served with rice, pickled carrots and radish, fresh veggies and a side of fish sauce. You can choose additional "topping" of other protein or egg roll for a couple of dollars more. The Crispy Noodles dish has veggies, chicken, shrimp and veggies with gravy. Gravy has a light chicken broth taste. So why not 4 or 5 stars? Read moreThis is a really great spot. Every time I visit Home Kitchen I leave with a full stomach and a happy wallet. I see a lot of reviews for Home Kitchen commenting some variation of, "it's not the best..." and I think that misses the point. In a world where we always search for the BEST version of something, there is much to be loved about a restaurant serving good food in large portions at an affordable price. It may not be the best food I've ever eaten, but it's consistently delicious and filling, and I think that's worth something. I doubt you will walk away...

A friend took me here a couple years ago, but I couldn't remember why I haven't came back until recently. -First off, pho is perfect for the cold weather, but this place takes it to a whole new level - you walk in and you feel like you're in a refrigerator. -Secondly, the broth is just horrible. Barely any flavor, unless you add in a shitload of Hoisin and Sriracha sauce. They are also skimpy on the veggies too (basil,bean sprouts,jalapeno)
Overall, unless you live in that area where pho is scarce, you're better off not coming...
