Civic Center Park — Attraction in Santa Clara

Civic center Park is usually very empty, no crowds.

It is mostly visited by dog lovers, people passing through and homeless.

Main feature is big pool with statue of St Clara.

This days it is mostly empty because of water restrictions.

It is very convenient to spend some time on bench not being disturbed by anyone.

Otherwise there is not much to do.

It is close to Santa Clara...

To call this a park is a stretch. A nice grassy area and a seasonally filled fountain. There are now two pokemon go gyms, so I am here often, but each trip outs only minutes, as there is really no other reason to stay there unless you are waiting for something from the Santa Clara city offices, even then the park behind the museum is much nicer, shadier and...

Park is small but very clean and maintained. Good for everyday stroll if you live nearby. Park has a water fountain and lot of iron benches. They also has a upper deck with picnic table and umbrellas. You will also find lot of seasonal flowers too. I live nearby and come to this park almost daily.
