Aroma Ramen & Korean Food — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

What a disappointment. I ordered the Korean fried chicken dish, which is supposed to come marinated in sauce (See photo I on). Also supposed to include your choice of one of three types of dipping sauce. I received the chicken bone dry with absolutely no sauce (See photo #2) To make it worse the dish came with no spices, seasonings or other ingredients leaving it absolutely flavorless.

Nobody is perfect . If you forget one sauce it’s not a big deal. Everyone makes mistakes, we’re all human. When you forget all of the sauce that comes with the dish including the sauce added during the preparation process and the ingredients that make up the actual recipe, that in my opinion is not acceptable.

To make things worse the restaurant is now closed so driving to the place to get my sauce is not possible. I have no other sauces that would go with this dish and it’s too late to order something else.

This restaurant is not very large. My order was placed around an hour before closing time on a weekday when I have yet to see this restaurant overwhelmingly busy, if busy at all. A mistake like this is never acceptable but all the more so at a time when I was most likely was the only order to worry about.

As far as I know this restaurant does not offer any dish that has plain chicken that is fried with no sauce, seasoning or marinade. I even went back and confirmed I did not miss something in the instructions and just as I thought, I did not.

I did notice that the dish mentions you get your choice of one of three sauces but there is no place where you can add your choice of sauce while adding the item, or at the end when reviewing and completing your order. Besides the space to include food allergies there is no place to add notes or other information. Even if there were, it would unreasonable to expect people to include “Please add normal ingredients included in dish” under special instructions.

I knew if I did not write this review right away the duties of life would get in the way and I would lose interest tomorrow. I would not want this to happen to somebody else and if this is a pattern, then people need to...

My children and I stopped by Aroma Ramen on a Sunday mid-morning while waiting at a nearby urgent care, and the service here was what truly stood out. The young gentleman managing the front of house had a calm, polite, and effortlessly cool presence. With an attention to detail in their appearance, and an all-black aesthetic reminiscent of Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance, they carried themselves with a quiet professionalism and warmth. No fake enthusiasm, no forced energy—just genuine, attentive service that made the experience feel welcoming and easy.

Beyond the service, the food was surprisingly delicious—not just “good,” but actually striking. So many places serve forgettable meals, but this was the kind of food that makes you pause and appreciate the flavors. It was a little pricier than what I’d normally spend for myself and my two kids, but after tasting it, I totally understood why. The quality was worth it.

We came here last October (I know I’m sharing this very late but came across this pictures so I thought I would post them) after I spotted this place from a restaurant across the street. We walked in and found out it was their first day open. At the time it was called Love Ramen (which also caught my eye). I don’t know if the same people are still running this place but those who were there at the time were very nice and I remember a chef coming to talk to us about the menu which I enjoyed. The service was very slow but we were patient as we knew they had only been open a few hours and were trying to figure out everything.
