Baja Fresh — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

On 9/29/24 I placed an order inside the restaurant and waited around 12-15 minutes for my food. One of the workers stocking up the refrigerator was also bagging up the orders. He called me number and I he said everything was in the bag. I guess I should have checked everything then, it would have saved me some time and gas. Anyways, I drove home 20 minutes away to realize they gave me half my order wrong. Super upset since it was a busy time of the day and no one likes to waste their gas. So, I called and the same cashier answered the phone and I explained they gave me the wrong order and she said I can go back for the new order but to bring back the “wrong order” so they can keep it. I get there and the cashier already has my correct order with her on the counter. I asked if this was freshly made since it was 30 minutes since it was placed, I’m still not sure when it was made, but I guess I had to believe her. Then, she asked me if I wanted to keep the wrong order? After making me bring it back and it’s been cold for 30 minutes she has the nerve to offer me to keep it? No way. Additionally, the shrimp in the salad was burnt and dry. The chips were hard and stale. Never going here again! This place obviously doesn’t care about their food quality or customer service! Spent $40 for bad service...

Came in for lunch for the first time in probably 10 years. I ordered a carnitas taco a la carte, which came with a side of chips but for some reason no salsa. I went to the salsa bar for salsa but apparently this location doesn’t have salsa out. On top of that they were out of salsa. How??

The woman at the counter rubbed me the wrong way with her tone, not just toward me but also toward a couple people who came in to pick up their orders.

The restaurant itself was dead other than me and a couple people in the corner. The drink area was a bit dirty. No napkin dispenser to speak of from without asking the woman at the counter.

The taco itself was fine. Tasty but nothing special. The price was a bit steeper than I’d like for a single street taco. I can see now why I just...

My experience at this Baja Fresh was exceptional! The costumer service was impeccable. We show up just as they were getting ready to close the doors for the night. Even though they had mostly cleaned up and were getting ready to lock doors they took us in and treated us kindly. I know most restaurants don’t like having people show up at closing but these guys went above and beyond to serve us.
