Our whole family have been coming to this place consistently every week for the past few months - really since it opened. And time and time again we've been so impressed. We don't normally have high hopes for arcades (Tilt was in the same location before, and did not make it unfortunately), but Fun Factory has been positively unique in many ways:
Gerardo is the ultimate gem of this place. It's obvious he takes great care of the place, but what's special is the care he's taken with our experience. Several times now he's taken the time to talk to my youngest one (who can get very tired, after her Gymboree class). He's made our experience different than the dozens of arcades we've been to. I sure hope Gerardo will be here to stay, so Fun Factory owner, I hope you take good care of a great employee in Gerardo. The variety in the prizes available are AMAZING. Like I said we've been regulars for months now, and we still find prizes the excite the kids. Also, unlike many other arcades, we've also been able to win a decent number of tickets, enough to leave with at least a small prize or two. This is in my opinion of the most important component for my kids (I wish they value customer service but they are kids :p), knowing they don't have to leave empty handed. There are really fun games we've never seen before. We obviously benefitted from the fact that all machines are brand new - but we've been really impressed with the level of care used in selecting the machines. Maybe there is a formula the owners tried and tested - but to us standard customers, we've just been very happy with the range of games the kids can try.
I sure hope Fun Factory will be around for a long, long...
Read moreJust have a really really bad experience today. Since it’s a Saturday morning my 2 year really love this place a lot and we want to let him have a little good time in here. But the guy over there working is like really rude talk to us like you guys cannot have no food or drink inside. But actually I just have a normal bottle of water sealed well and I’m not even drinking it inside and I’m not gonna drink it since they said no water or food inside. But he’s like you cannot even have a bottle even though in hand and I asked if I have anywhere even a corner or table to leave it so I’m not just waste a bottle of water. He’s like no you can throw outside or drink it then come back. I said I will not just throw the whole bottle water like that and I’m not gonna finish it all just in a minute... just crazy. If he talk to me in a respect way and I will not be like what is going on with this guy or something like that. But he’s not from the beginning. I may understand the sign like general it should just no drink or eat inside so I didn’t do it. But maybe they require more for that at least should give person a place to leave it if customers need. But he’s really rude. And if I keep a bottle water because my kid may need or even though I will need because I’m pregnant so it’s really bad to be dehydrated in a hot...
Read moreI had to give a review of this place because my son and I had so much fun and I thought it was well worth the $20 we spent. First off, it is IMMACULATELY CLEAN! The entire store and all the games are maintained and nothing is dirty or sticky. After reading reviews of some other local arcades (where parents were cleaning bodily fluids off the floor because the employees didn't care), I was relieved to see this one so beautifully kept. As a parent of a young child, I especially appreciated that none of the video games were bloody, gory, etc. There was one zombie game in the back, but my son wasn't interested in it. They have a great selection of carnival style games, too. It took us about 45 minutes to use our game credits, and he earned a surprising amount of tickets in that short time. He left with decent prizes (a generous bag of marbles and a water blaster), and still has a credit of tickets saved. The prize selection was impressive and age appropriate. The lovely gentleman who helped us was kind, professional, and took great pride in his job. For my $20, I had a very enjoyable morning with my son and I plan to return for more fun...
