Ben & Jerry’s — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

First time in this store. I had seen a couple of non-dairy flavors at my local grocery store but did not want to spend $5 plus not knowing if it was any good. I was on that side of town tonight and saw a large sign on their door saying "now serving non dairy flavors" and I was excited to taste some flavors, not expecting them to have a ton of options but maybe a couple. The display of scoop ice cream listed one non-dairy ice cream. Please note I am not including the sorbet flavors. When I asked about it the employee informed me that they did not actually have that flavor. I asked if they had any non dairy flavors in the pre packed section and she said they did. When I went to the freezer I couldn't find any non dairy options. Not even the sorbet flavors. I am very disappointed that they advertise having non dairy flavors but did not actually have any. She was apologetic and offered me sorbet but that is not what I was looking for. I went to walmart and found 4 non dairy flavors in the pint for way less cost, but I am still upset that I didn't have a chance to sample or have it...

Only gave it one star because I had to in order to review this jerk. I brought my son in to pick out his very first EVER ice cream cake for his 7th Birthday and with all of the flavor choices of course we planned on tasting. The jerk behind the counter who claimed to be the owner said we couldn't have anymore tastes after 6. Then he proceeded to tell me how my child should only get two options to choose from and that children shouldn't be able to just choose whatever they want, the parents should make the choice for them. Wow! Didn't know I was going to Parenting classes at Ben and Jerrys from a cheapskate who should keep his mouth shut and do his job. It's easy. .. let the poor kid taste as much as he wants until he figures out what all your crazy named flavors mean and sell me a cake for way too much money while my child leaves with a smile. Ended up taking my mother here due to the Cold Stone creamery nearby being closed. I was disappointed with the overall experience

I experienced multiple problems when attending this Ben & Jerry's location.

Gloves were not used when scooping the ice cream.

The ice cream that i ordered (wake & no bake cookie dough core) was freezer burned.

The lighting in the room is terrible.

While not rude, the staff member clearly didn't want to be there that day.

The location has no restroom (I don't care how small a food location is, not having a restroom usable by customers is a Red Flag.)

The acoustics inside the building were terrible, it was hard to hear each-other so my mother and i ended up sitting outside.

I really can't recommend this place in its current state. If you really want Ben & jerry's buy a pint from a nearby...
