The food here is delicious and generously portioned. While there are plenty of takeout teriyaki and Hawaiian-style BBQ spots out there, this place stands out—it doesn’t have that typical corporate franchise feel. I have been here twice and love the food and service! I have been to Hawaii many times and always look for good Hawaiian bbq on the mainland. Even though Burnin’ isn’t strictly Hawaiian bbq, it has great chicken katsu. It was crispy, not greasy, huge portions, and great sides! The service is always great, and at least when I go the food is made fresh....
