Love trying new places. I have been to their location in Newhall and didn't know this one was here. I felt they had more flavors then the other location in Newhall. The employees that were working here are friendly. The space is nice inside with plenty of sitting space. The only reason I am giving this location a 4 star is because we got skipped when it clearly was our turn. The wait was also long and when we walked in there was only 1 person ahead of us. As soon as we walked in it filled up quick and we were skipped. So the wait was even longer.

This is our second time trying ice cream at La Michoacana. They have many different flavors of popsicles and ice creams. The weather has been very warm in Santa Clarita. What a great way to cool off with a cold treat. The facility is extremely clean. We thought the staff was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning and trying another flavor. A Great place to take the whole family.

If you haven't tried it, DON'T DO IT!!! I made the mistake of trying their esquites and mangoneadas(I had never liked cold drinks), but now I'm even drinking cold stuff during winter time (unbelievable). I was a healthy woman without any addictions, but chamoy was my downfall 😔. I'm obsessed with La Michoacana and the staff is very professional 👌 👍

We went in on a Saturday night and there was one other customer in there who had already been helped and left shortly after. The first woman who took the order was nice enough but not friendly at all. All we got was the smallest horchata available and a tamarind paleta. The total was around $15. We sat down so my friend could eat her paleta and while I was perusing the menu, I realized they overcharged for her paleta. It should have cost $4.50, NOT $8.75, which is what they charged her. They charged her for a completely different item, a "loaded" paleta if you will. My friend didn't want to say anything because she hadn't taken the receipt from them but they would have been able to look it up in their POS or remember the only transaction from a minute prior. I doubt they would have apologized given the cashier's super rude demeanor anyway.

I feel like you will be impressed by this place if this is your first time having esquites or raspados but it is definitely subpar in service and quality while being WAY overpriced...

I brought my mom here for ice cream recently. We were looking for somewhere to get some dessert after a nice meal.

Mind you my mom is incredibly picky. We were excited to see how many flavours this shop has in stock.

We were able to sample a variety of flavours with no hassle. The ice creamer was very nice and helpful.

I am only downgrading on the stars because I ordered a churro sundae and the churro itself was so hard and stale. It seemed like it had been sitting there for a while but I’m sure that’s why you shouldn’t order that half an hour...
