Las Delicias Classica Taqueria — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

I will never return to this restaurant again. Once the transaction of our purchase cleared our bank, the amount we paid was more than what they charged us at the restaurant. To me, this is stealing and it is not ok. Whoever did this should be ashamed of themselves. I would never throw out accusations if it wasn't true. We are very unhappy and disappointed in this company. If you decide to come here, please make sure you pay attention to the amount that clears your bank. I have contacted my bank to dispute the charge. I hope this company makes it right.

I can't believe people are saying this is authentic Mexican food. Neither the steak nor the Chile verde had any flavor. We were quite disappointed in our food. We wished we had gone somewhere else. This is all I have to say. I can't believe the practices of this business. Shame on you!

Update to respond to owner: If the extra charge was a processing fee, then why was the processing fee and the correct total not on the receipt I was given? Still seems pretty shady to me. Anytime a restaurant charges a fee, it's always listed on the receipt and never done in the back end. You have to be completely transparent to your customers with your charges. As far as contacting you directly, that's why I have a bank. They can take care of it for me. I have attached a copy of my receipt. There was no processing fee and the total on my receipt was not the total processed through my bank....

1st things first, the tacos are street style and very good. And that's the list of things worth eating and why they get that second star. For me chile relleno is a benchmark for any good mexican restaurant that serves it. I love them and I didn't eat half of this one. Gross. Stouffer frozen is miles better than the atrocity they served me. I would not sell what I got to anyone if I was the mgr or owner here. A joke. Enchilada was, somehow, even worse. Walmart "Great Value" frozen quality but not as good or even close. Disgusting. I don't get it other than whomever frequents this place must only order the tacos and maybe their burrito. I had a bite of my wifes that she didn't finish. I thought it was a bit better than she did but closer to their enchilada than the tacos for sure. What a disappointment after only having tacos the first time we ate here. I may get more tacos at some point but with as many places that also make good street tacos it's not likely. I couldn't serve this relleno and enchilada to customers and the ones they served me was inedible anyway. Abomination. Stay away beyond the tacos.

Also ,they were busy but it took them 15 minutes to make my tacos while I stood and waited. Friendly enough but unacceptable...

It was a nice experience. The food was an 8 on a 1-10. It seemed to be pretty popular amongst neighborhood residents. I notice the staff and customers seemed really friendly as if they were regulars. The staff was friendly to me as well. I order something they didn't offer on the menu, but they obliged me(a combination plate with a chicken taco and cheese enchilada). I order pinto beans and rice on the side. It was pretty tasty. One thing I wouldn't recommend is the margarita(strawberry). Really too sweet and not enough alcohol. Its was really salty as well. Thank goodness it was only $5.00. My niece ordered the shrimp cocktail and she said it was pretty good. It has a nice presentation and the shrimps looked meaty. I noticed she doctored it up quite and bit with hot sauce and line juice. Overall, it was a nice, small,quaint Mexican...
