I purchased furniture here October 2017. After declining the salesman's offer of 36 month financing with 12 months deferred interest, I accepted the salesman's second offer of 48 month financing with 36 months deferred interest. He handed me an application for a credit card account, but I objected because I did not want a credit card. The salesman told me they used that form for all of their credit accounts no matter the type, so I proceeded. He handed me the credit agreement to sign, but when it said only "12 months deferred interest" I refused to sign it. But the salesman said it was OK, I would get 48 month financing with 36 months deferred interest, and he showed me the sales invoice which stated "48 mo 548". I asked about "548" and he said it was just their code. OK, so I trusted him and signed. I have attached my sales invoice here as proof. I had been hustled. My first statement from the finance company showed TWO transactions. The first was the amount of my purchase ($3,754.92) with 12 month deferred interest. The second was a charge of $548 with 48 month financing. They had put through an extra undisclosed charge of $584 so they could write "48 mo" on the invoice. Not only did they submit a bogus charge, the finance terms for the real purchase were not on the invoice. I called the finance company immediately, and they told me to simply call the store and ask them to fix it. I called the store and they pretended they didn't know what happened, but promised to fix it. It never happened. I called and visited the store repeatedly and I was very patient and nice. They always promised to fix it, but they never did. 12 months elapsed, and I was hit with $1,200 in deferred finance charges. (The finance charges as of this date have exceeded $2,400.) It's been 2 years of pleading and cajoling without success, so I tried mediation through the BBB. Their response (to paraphrase) "he signed the paper. There's nothing we can do." The bank has confirmed repeatedly that A Royal Suite has only to call them to correct the finance terms, thereby making the finance charges disappear, but they still refuse to do it. The bank can't understand why A Royal Suite won't just call them and fix it. I had a lawyer send them a letter and ask them to correct my account to honor the word of their salesman, but their lawyer fired back a nasty warning and an offer of $600 if I would remove my complaint with the BBB. It would be nice if they would just step up and say, "Sorry about the trouble. We will honor the verbal agreement you had with our salesman and correct the finance agreement to remove the charges you weren't supposed to incur." But they don't. Clearly, the initial hustle, the deception on the invoice, and the refusal to make it right cast some serious doubt upon the integrity of this business. Read moreIn September of 2014 I purchased Lazy boy furniture from A Royal Suite. The salesman told me the furniture would be delivered between 12 to 14 weeks. We wanted the new furniture before Christmas. We paid the full amount and was told to call in 12 weeks to see how things were going. We called at the end of November and was told it would be a couple of more weeks. We still believed the furniture would be there before Christmas. Around the middle of December we started to get worried and called. They finally told us there was a problem with the fabric we chose. They then said there would be a delay. We continued to wait and the furniture did not make it before Christmas. We started to call weekly in January and was always told there was a delay. In February I went to the store and asked for a refund. The salesman kept trying to give us a discount, first free delivery, then $300 off, then $500, then $1500 off. Going on 6 months for delivery I wasn't willing to wait any longer and just wanted my money back. I went to the store and the salesman submitted a request for a refund and told me to come back in three days. I returned and was told there was no one at the business who could write a check and to come back another day. I told them to give me a check and they gave me an unsigned check. I told them I would wait for someone to come and sign the check and stood at the front door. Victor came to the front door and started to video tape me as I stood at the door. I saw a customer starting to walk in the business and I told her how long I had to wait for my furniture and the fact that the ownership would not give me a refund. She just walked away. The owner came running out and told me I could not talk to the customers, he then told me was calling the police. I told him I would wait. He then said he would sign the check. He did call the Sheriff's Department. I waited in the front. The Deputies did arrive and I told them why I was so unhappy. The Deputy went in and spoke to the owner, the owner told the Deputy that the check was good. I went directly to the bank and the teller said there was not enough funds to cover the check. I went back to A Royal Suite and told them the check was not good. They said they did not think I was going to cash the check.??? They then told me they could give me a different check which was good, that I could cash. They gave me a different check from a different bank. I though it was odd the had different accounts with separate monies. I went to the new bank and cashed the check.
If A Royal Suite would like to refute anything I have reported above, I did record my dealings with them and they did video tape me form the door. Be very wary of A Royal Suite owner and Customer Service. I have never been screwed over enough to comment on the internet until now. ...

Good afternoon, I placed 2 orders with this location between August of 2023 and September of 2023. The first order had 3 upholstered queen beds the second order had 6 dining chairs and 3 counter stools. Everything that could go wrong has. The beds arrived in a timely manner, however were installed incorrectly, no big deal. The chairs arrived next...apparently we had to pay a second delivery fee so my husband picked them up. He came home with 3 boxes of unassembled chairs. No one mentioned chairs would be arriving unassembled. When we called the customer service number they told us we could drive to Palmdale to have them assembled...we live in Valencia. We then called the store and were told we could pay to have someone come out and assemble them. After thinking how ridiculous it was to have to pay for chair assembly when the salesman said nothing about having to put them together....MY HUSBAND had to call and talk to the store manager and ask that the fee be waved. Lastly we ordered counter stools made in North Carolina. We were told it could take up to 8 to 12 weeks....24 WEEEKS have passed with no honest answer on where these stools are. In November the salesman said they just finished being made and would be on a truck in 2 weeks. Two weeks later your customer service told me they could sit in NC for months. I didn't follow up in December and January. I called customer service at 7:30 am ( which says is when they open) only to have them answer after 9am. I was put on hold and told March. I emailed the salesman who said he was out till Thursday and he would get back to me. I asked HIM to forward my email to the store manager. I spoke to the store manager asking where the stools are he said he would call me back.....2:30pm no call back AND it's after 5pm in NC. Nothing has been offered to remedy this situation and I keep getting lie after lie!!
