Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

Update since my last review: Avoided this restaurant for a long time bc of the lack of condiments but my children insisted. This time I asked first whether they had condiments and was glad to hear they did. For this visit we dined in, and I have to give credit where it is due: This location is clean. Was very impressed by it's cleanliness. Service was friendly this time around.

Old review: Our children attend Catechism at the church across the street once a week.. We stop by for a quick dinner at this Carls Jr once a week bc we have a half hour layover between classes. This location NEVER has all of the condiments. Last night I asked maybe they could mention it to the GM, and the cashier says it's "out of his hands".. ?? Well who's hands is it in then?? Carl's Jr charges $15 for a combo, condiments are not too...

I remember a while back ago this place had a huuuuge sign on the window that said "WE NOW ACCEPT EBT!" I mean, that'll excite some one with food stamps. So I went in, ordered, and wen I went to pay they tell me "NO EBT"... I mean come on what the heck! So, come to find out....what the poster meant by 'ebt', was: 'EBT CASH'....... BOUT THE DUMBEST THING I EVER HEARD!!!

So....many months have passed since then, I actually happened to have not only snap but some ebt cash. Figured I'd check just to be sure. And sure enough this kid probably didn't fully understand wat I was even asking completely... but he said they don't do ebt... I hate carls Jr on Lyons ave in Newhall for a slew of reasons....but that just irked...

Expensive but the quality of good has improved since my last visit 4 years ago. The food was hot and the french fries were shockingly fresh. The staff was polite and quick. From what I could see of the dining room, it had been regularly cleaned as had the indoor bathrooms. A simple burger and fries and drink will set you back well over $10 but that's the way things are nowadays. At least the quality has returned to near what it was back in the day when Carl Karcher was still running things. And since most locations now are franchised and not corporate, that is truly...
