Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

The food is great and the staff is always friendly. So why not five stars?

This location while very friendly and nice does not seem to have any sort of process for verifying orders. The most common thing they forget are drinks. This might be expected the first week or two, but it has been many months now with them handling all the drinks. I would say 80% of our visits they get something wrong.

A missing drink isn’t as bad when you do curbside because they can run in and get it. But for delivery they have no way to fix it.

They also mess up on other things somewhat often like asking for ketchup on the burger, or making it well done, etc.

I don’t understand why they don’t have better quality control. It will be right on the receipt every time they get it wrong. If only someone would look at it before sending the order out.

UPDATE: Changed to one star. We’ve ordered from here two more times and BOTH times had items missing. Both times the drink. Onion rings burnt. Can’t call the store, only a call center in another country. Ordering online is already over priced, and we don’t even get what we paid for.

Update 2: They continue to screw up. I ate a TERIYAKI burger with no teriyaki. It wasn’t pleasant. Why do I...

We love habit. But this location is terribly run. We placed an order for curbside pick up. Checked in and waited. 10 minutes after our food was supposed to be ready, we go in and see our order just sitting on the counter...?! we have to ask about it and they tell us that the type of shake we ordered, they don't have...ok so we checked in as here waiting and you have our phone number, but you just had our food sit there? We tell them what type of shake. Then No one starts making shakes! We wait another 5 minutes until we ask about the shake again. They finally start making shakes, but not ours!!!! Our food is now 30 minutes late and cold when we finally get our full order. We point this out, and they say " well what do u want us to do?" ..... you know what - an apology would be a good start.... we left in disgust and decided to call and speak to a manager for a refund. So we get home and call, but there's no way to talk to someone. Still need to get a refund and never going there again. We like habit, but this location is...

This Habit always has the utmost friendly service that a fast food joint can have. They always serve with a smile and keep tables clean and even take away your tray when you're done. If you're low on napkins, they even offer to get you some or even some ketchup if you want some.

As for the food, it's delicious. I recommend just a typical cheese burger (cheese costs extra) with onion rings and a shake. Their fries are just average, which is why I recommend the onion rings.

They have more items on their menu than this though. From salads, to tempura green beans and different types of sandwiches, the Habit has a wide variety of fast food items, all of which taste delicious.

The cost is a little above average for a fast food restaurant, but it is well worth it considering the burgers are large and taste great. Overall, if you're in this shopping center, go to The Habit for a nice...
