When I first moved to Santa Clarita in 2004 till probably 3-5 years ago this Staples was my favorite and I shopped and did all my business here for my businesses. I've always preferred buying in person over online to help keep places like this open. Obviously we are in the Amazon world now and that is more efficient and more reasonable.
But some things have always made me feel better buying in person like TV's, Couches, and PC Printers! Well I needed a new Printer for my office at home, and I've been researching InkJet Printers for 2 weeks straight. Found the model I was looking for here and wanted to buy it and be done with it.
Unfortunately not many staff available and the person Jay who seemed to be the cashier, the manager, and maybe even more than that wasn't having a good day. As much as I asked or kindly requested for some engagement. I understood he may have been super busy, but no one was talking to him and I was just wanting to get some more info and his Insight as a professional on which printer would suit me best for my needs. I was patient and willing to hear you out, but you seem to just want to get rid of me.
He didn't care, he just wanted me out of the store and out of his way. Every chance I spoke to him for a conversation to help decide on my purchase I had the feeling he wasn't going to waste his time with me. Of course, after all I'm just a customer with multiple businesses that care about buying the right thing and getting the right info before making a well informed decision.
To make this long review shorter I'll just say, I will NEVER conduct business at this Staples and unfortunately this store and maybe even the company will lose value from one customer who is me. That may not have an effect, and that's ok. I'm not wishing anything wrong. But I still believe customer service is a necessity and just as important as working. Bravo to anyone that still does these jobs and I'm 100 percent grateful for you and all those that do it. You are all better then me, because it surely is a challenge in todays world. However, please don't lose your service skills, friendly behavior and great attitude because eventually wherever you decide to go in life, it always comes back to you in good favor 10 fold and more!
Sorry Jay, but your attitude that day 03-04-24 made me realize how awful some businesses like Staples and their employees can really make people feel about not ever shopping in person anymore. I guess I'll have to try out the Staples in Woodland Hills if I ever comeback. For now, even though I left this store with a purchase and receipt. I don't ever plan on coming...
Read moreI’m giving this Staples location 5 stars all because one employee name Christiana. I went in to pick up my holiday cards and was not satisfied with the results. Christiana offer to remake them so I agreed to pick up my holiday cards until a later date. Today, 11/26/2023 @ 4:20 I went back to Staples to pick up my order and once again was dissatisfied with the results due to the rough cutting around the holiday cards. Christiana happened to see me in the check out lane and asked how I liked my new set of cards. As I showed Christiana the reason I was dissatisfied, she took all of my holidays cards and made sure they were all evenly cut . Read moreI gave 5 stars because of Susan at Staples on Golden Valley. She was helping a customer with his returns that took long awhile when I stood in another line to purchase my item. She and another sale associate was helping their customer. Third sale associate was floating through the store???? Susan apologized for the wait. When finished she asked if I was signed up for my rewards. Nope! She then proceeded to help me step by step making sure I was in the system😊. She is very professional, kind, respectful and a wonderful sense of humor. It’s people like her that keeps me coming back.
