Chicken was very undercooked almost raw. There were a lot of food orders pending so the two cooks there were trying to complete the orders as fast as they could. This is not a place where you take your family, tables are small and walking area very limited. It’s best if you pick up and eat home. The guy in the front counter treats you like he wants to get rid of you as fast as possible. Not a “welcome” or a “thank you.” If you want a type of “lunch truck” treatment and a possible raw piece of meat. This is your place! But there are better Hawaiian barbecue places in the valley. This place has lost the quality that used to define it.

Haven't been here since pre-pandemic times, so it's been a minute. The burger had no BBQ on it, (a BBQ burger). The patty tasted like a thawed frozen turkey patty. The overall flavor was WAY different than what their burgers used to taste like... maybe try something else if/when I go again..

Just dropped in to test their maladadas for an upcoming party. They are made to order and got when you get them. Still good an hour later. We'll see how long they stay "good". Gonna have to go another time to try their food. They also have plenty of other island related items for sale.

Previously when we visited we were dismayed to discover our locomoco with a half-dollar sized chunk of eggshell. It also weirdly had the patties on the side (which i guess is good as it made sure we didn't eat the eggshell.)

We decided that it could have been a fluke and tried the restaurant again. This most recent time the chicken musubi had a bone hidden under the seaweed, and was burnt, the bbq or teriyaki sauce that should have came with it was definitely not either. The macaroni salad needed salt and overall all the food from the bbq combo was bland, the short ribs tough.

Overall I am very underwhelmed by this restaurant especially when other Hawaiian Bbq stores in this valley are so much better. I'm just going to have to settle with driving farther in order to...

The young gentleman working there at the register, was super nice and great customer service. I ordered beef Ribs and chicken. Chicken was very dry, and the beef Ribs tasted as tho they dipped them in oil before handing me the order, I mean trying to eat them with so much oil! I ended up trashing the order. They must have new cooks. I've never gotten a order like this before. This will be a easy fix, I'm done eating there. That was a $28 waste of money, but never again. Food prices are expensive now, and no one can afford to throw away food now days. By the way, the cooks should have on hair nets and not eating the food while cooking orders, that's very...
