I went to take my mom for her birthday dinner. We drove 40 minutes to get here. First let’s start with having to wait 20 minutes to get a half booth when we made a reservation for a full BOOTH. The “manager” Matthew was rude when I asked why did we have to wait when we had a reservation already. He disregarded my question and stated we needed to wait. 20 minutes later we got seated and our server ( Michelle g) asked if we are celebrating anything I said yes my mom’s birthday. She started us with drinks and then came back 20 minutes later and asked if we were ready to order appetizers we did. Not to mention the biscuits we are supposed to get arrived with the food we ordered ( what is the point if we are getting our food already. The food got there 20 more minutes later we saw a table that was seated after us get their food before us. The food finally got here and it was cold , no seasoning, the whole time we were eating not one time did Michelle g ask us if we were doing okay or if we needed anything. The whole experience made me and my family VERY uncomfortable to the point where I had to ask for the bill. I didn’t even want to stay any longer in this atmosphere with these people. The bill was $171 I wish I could get my money back because this was horrible. We started to pay and Matthew the manager asked us ( he could see on our face we were not happy) he asked how was your guys’ dinner. I said nothing and smiled as well as my grandma said nothing. He said “aw” sarcastically. I felt as this was very unprofessional from the start. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone due to the rudeness and unnecessary remarks. The experience was so bad during the meal I wrote down the servers and managers name. I don’t know If you guys are understaffed don’t like your job or my certain type of people or whatever it is...

Read moreWe frequent your Santa Clarita location monthly and the service we get from Darrin, and Bernard ( which was tonight), is first class. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, Bernard was able to tell us every nuance of Crabfest, including how the three crab pasta dishes differentiate. He anticipated our every need ( more biscuits, butter, clean utensils for dessert, etc). Especially notable to the restaurant, he suggestive sold side salads, two crabfest entrees, desserts and refills of alcoholic drinks. I could overhear his conversations with other tables and he made honest human connections with them as well. (Can you tell I’m a 42 year veteran in sales /customer service myself, and I know excellence when I see, and experience it, and both Darrin and Bernard are top shelf, both in providing service and boosting per guest dollars as well. Please recognize them both for their excellence at your next meeting (and hopefully with a more tangible...
