My mom was staying in the hotels near this Sam's Flaming Grill and I was just reminded of why this place is so GOOD. The meat is tender and flavorful--it is seasoned perfectly. I really liked the chicken kabob, but the beef shawarma was very good too. We had the combo plates that came with sides like cucumber sauce, tabouli, and hummus--they were all very delicious and flavorful, exactly what I would expect from a Mediterranean place that knows what it's doing. The Greek salad was also very good and I'm so glad I got that too--very fresh and the feta cheese and dressing is so good. We also had an order of falafel which was perfectly crispy and delicious, and an order of baklava that was perfect with walnuts and honey--it melts in your mouth, and they actually give you a pretty big chunk of it. I wish I realized that they have garlic sauce here, because I would have ordered that in a second. This place is fantastic and I think it's going to be my new go-to when my mom is in...
Read moreExpect long wait times for simple orders. I ordered a Tri tip shawarma wrap with hummus and salad. I spent my entire 30 minute break waiting for my food. There were only two women ahead of me but other customers came in after me, ordered and got their food before I did. I stood up and was waiting for the two employees there to finish with a customer so I can ask how much longer. That's when one of the employees began getting my food together. I saw him throw some tri tip on some rice in a to go plate and figured that must be mine. Definitely not what I ordered but i wasn't about to spend another 15 min while they fix it. Since I spent my entire lunch break waiting to get the food, I had to eat the food a bit later and was honestly disappointed. The meat was tough, the rice bland, hummus was rather bitter and the salad had gone soggy from the heat of the other items in the plate. I will not be...
Read moreI won't be going back. Bad customer service, mediocre food. I got two wraps, a salad, and fries. The salad was gross. The fries were ok. The wraps were dry (lots of veggies with no sauce to make them edible). The wraps were ok when you added some of the hummus they give you on the side. But they only gave us one hummus for our two wraps, which wasn't enough. We went back to ask for another hummus for the second wrap, and they said it should be $0.50 for an extra hummus. We explained that that didn't make sense; if we had paid separately we would have gotten 2 containers of hummus. They said they'd give it to us this time, but next time it'll be $0.50. Well, I'm not going to go back to eat dry wraps without the hummus we should be...
