Valencia Country Club — Restaurant in Santa Clarita

We had our wedding at the Valencia Country Club about a week ago and it was far beyond my expectations. The ceremony was on the beautiful golf course, cocktail hour at the grand bar, and reception under the market lights. I worked with Laura at the venue, and she answered all of my questions and never made me feel like I was a bother. In fact, she encouraged me to always reach out with any questions or concerns. Their team also handled serving food, drinks, and dessert. As a person who expected at least 1 hiccup on their wedding day, I can tell you that our wedding went off without any issues. I wish I had another major event to host so I could do it with them again. Also, knowing how expensive weddings can be, this venue was incredibly reasonable in my opinion, especially for what you get with their packages- everything is pretty much handled. Maybe they will treat you different if you throw a large $50k+ event with hundreds of people but for our smaller event of 60-70 with open bar, DJ and ballroom they staff were completely unprepared, unresponsive, unprofessional, and disappointing. See Yelp! for more details.

How Disingenuous! Only Katelyn has reached out and that was AFTER the initial Yelp! review from my mom which she was asked to remove so you all could address the situation. During this time we have been trying to meet with management at Valencia Country Club and The Oaks for over 2 weeks since our event without luck. While Valencia has seen a number of changes over the years some of the most recent have elicited some skeptical thoughts. The bottom line is that manager Michael DeJordy and head professional Brian Boehlig have worked and are working very hard to make Valencia one of the best private country club experiences in the nation. Valencia is without a doubt one of the best pure golf tracks in Southern California if not all of California. Ranking up there with such notables as Riviera and The Los Angeles Country Club.
