Just had the absolute worst experience with Wendy's Ordered online with wendys.com. Since the DoorDash app only gives the option for small I had to order direct from the website (which feeds to DoorDash/Grubhub…a completely different awful form of customer service). The order was delivered and was not what I ordered. Mistakes happen…I get it. I called to let the location know the wrong order was delivered which means the other family isn’t getting the correct food either and wanted to see how I can get the correct order delivered. The location told me that they don’t have delivery so they can’t send us the right food. I was told ‘‘Someone’ came and picked up my order and they must have dropped off the wrong food.’’ I inquired if they don’t have delivery then how did someone pick it up to deliver me the wrong food. She then said that mistakes happen and they have a new cashier and they must have made the mistake and I should understand that. I told her I understand I would just like to have the correct food sent to my house so my child can have her lunch. They said that I could come to the location and they can then make the correct order. I let them know that I have a sleeping infant and can not leave the house. Nor is it my responsibility to drive for them to correct their delivery issue. They kept passing me back and forth between two ladies and the stories and excuses kept changing. I finally said that I was displeased with the complete lack of customer service and would just like to have the order refunded to my card since I did not receive the correct order. I was then told “Ya, we don’t do that.” I was told that if I drive to the location they can give me cash or they can give me a credit to the chain. I let them know, again, that I am unable to leave my house (which is why I ordered and paid for delivery) and I will call the bank to put a stop on the payment. Suddenly the story changed again and they said that they have someone that can bring me the correct order. Which confused me since they already told me they didn’t have a driver. One of the ladies said that the manager called the driver and asked him to come back and she was doing all she could. I let them know I didn’t feel comfortable eating food that was now prepared and sent to my house since they had been rude and I would have no way of knowing if they messed with it before I feed it to my children. She had me talk to the manager again who said she DIDNT call the driver (lied to me again) but when a driver came in to pick up an order she recognized the name as mine so now they can send me the right order. Only problem with that is THEY NEVER ASKED ME FOR A NAME OR ORDER NUMBER!! So how did it look familiar to her. I am completely enraged with the lack of customer service or respect from this establishment. At this point knowing that I was going to continue to be blamed for their mistake and lied to, not to mention knowing I can’t not trust the food to have replacements sent. I will no longer be using This facility. It’s a shame to see a good business ruined because of the people that run it. Location on Soledad.

Read moreOk. I looked online because I rarely go to ff places, but i remembered Wendy's was halfway decent. Not tonightI isse on THEIR SITE AND LOCATION they had $5-$6 which is what i wanted. I ordered at the first stop, menu, and ordering. I said, "i want 2 $5 meal bags. I ordered a small bacon cheeseburger and the other was, i think, a double. I had to correct him when he read it back. He then just said the amount $16 and pull forwatd. I got to the window and said why 16$ he said, "They're 8$ here and only certain locati.ons." I told him it was on this place website. I really wanted to just leave, but they had my debit card, or i would have just left. Asked for certain things at the order process, nothing was there, so i had to say that it AGAIN! Almost an argument to get 2 extra barbecue sauce. They gave me 2. For 2 meals???. And the food was horrible! Both burgers were on top of each other pushed down. They were "DAMP" or soggy, is the only way i can explain it. Frys were cool and not fresh! I WASTED $16 literally. Just WASTED it! I don't recommend this location, misleading $$$ for certain items. The only issue that I have, is that when you do a mobile order or are the only person in the line and no one is behind you. You end up pulling up to the window and the employee asks you to put your car in reverse so that you can back up behind the pressure sensor until they are finished with your order.
This kinda peeves me off because I used to work in fast food and I know that is a tactic that the manager makes the drive thru ask, because all the orders are being timed on how fast they go out. this is a cheat to make it look like orders are going out in less than a minute. (in this case, less than 30 seconds).
I don't see why I as a customer need to jump through hoops to make it seem like they are doing their job better. But aside from that, if they had the confidence in themselves. They do a good job on being quick and accurate. I haven't had an issue with an order I've made at all. and if they focused on just making the food and bagging it, it would still come out with good numbers.
So yeah, cause of that I give this location a 3/5, but hey. if I see any change, this...
