In response to the owners inquiry as to why I rated 2 stars....First and foremost I have worked in restaurants and I know that their kitchen was SLAMMED! But after waiting for 15-20 minutes for a drink then another nearly an hour for our food I would have expected maybe a free beer of which I had three....considering the folks directly behind us had something comped but I didn't turn to see what it was. And when you are way behind and you know it... when you take a check to another table it is a good idea as you walk by the other table which is waiting forever to say SOMETHING to ease our anxieties. nothing was said to us from the time we placed our drink and food order till we got our food. So that was my experience. The food...not bad but not worth a 20 minute wait then 60 minute food wait then eating. I put 1 hour 40 minutes in the meter and had to go add 20 to it. Ambiance was OKAY. The place was packed I get it....again...but I couldn't hear my wife across the table! It was LOUD. Some of my complaints are modifiable! Some are not! With the amount of eateries in downtown SC and the surrounding area I won't be going back to Rosie McCann's anytime soon for anything other than a drink at the...

Been here a few times, restaurant service was good and friendly and the bar is good. Nice servers, decent food. Had never had a problem with this place until last night when my friends and I tried to get in but the bouncer was a total jerk. I went with two of my friends and two out of three of us received snarky comments from him as we showed him our IDs, but we were let in. Subsequently, our friend, who is almost 23, began to get grilled by this guy on the validity of his ID. The bouncer asked him the closest cross streets to his address in Oregon and looked them up. But when he was unable to find the cross streets on google maps, decided my friend's ID was fake. What a bogus way to check the validity of an ID if you can't even figure out what the heck you're doing. What an idiot. He was chatting up some girl as we were getting our IDs checked so maybe he was trying to impress her. What a cool dude. Shaka. Jk he...

Haven't been there in a long time. Took the family to a matinee movie and decided to get lunch at Rosie McCann's. It was Sunday so it was a brunch part lunch menu. Had a corned beef Reuben that was excellent my wife had the pub burger which turned I to an empty plate. One of my boys ordered the leperachan breakfast of the kids menu which was huge. Service was a bit slow but the quality of the food made up for it. It also looked like they were hiring for staff positions. Had a huge scotch selection and Irish whiskey. Nice draft beer selection too. Wouldn't of thought it but it was a nice breakfast spot. Originally went there to get some clam chowder which did really good at the local competitions but didn't see it on the brunch menu. Would definitely go back. There's a lot of stairs up to the restaurant but there is an elevator back over by the parking garage for people that have...

All zeroes. Because as a disabled person they exclude me and anyone else who can't climb the twenty foot flight of stairs. And, this is no accident, absolutely intentional. I have spoken to their manager/owner for several years. The first time I posted a negative review, he printed out a lame little office paper sign to let people know about the freight elevator in back, in a dark alley, with no signs visible. The picture shows the front recently with zero signage. I have a complaint on file but it's not the simple process that it sounds like. I'm not trying to get paid, but I hope it costs Rosie's a lot I have been by there probably 20 times. Each of those was a time I was essentially denied access by not being able to climb those damn steps. The law says they can be fined significantly for each time access is denied. If you have compassion for the disabled, walk on by and let them know why.

We came in late to the city and this was the Only place to get Clam Chowder in Santa Cruz after 9pm. The food was very delicious, I loved the clam chowder my burger was pretty good. The waiter seemed like he was having a rough night since he was alone at the bar and taking orders. However everything was okay. I'm not sure if this would be my first choice but I would recommend if you would like something to eat late at night. Location is good, not too far from board walk.

Pretty nice 🍀Irish Pub🍀. Understaffed on our visit. The fish&chips was good but not much fish and a ridiculously small amount of chips! Come on man, chips are a low stakes item to be skimping on and besides, they were good! Also you should know better than to keep an Irishman from his taters! Looks like they have specials and things happening throughout the week so maybe check their website? I'll be back on a Thursday night for the music. The Guinness was delicious! 🙌🏼
