La Michoacana de Tocumbo Artisan Ice Cream — Restaurant in Santa Fe Springs

Found this place by accident about a month ago was driving by and saw a faded pizza sign shop (when hungry you can’t go wrong with a faded pizza sign open for 35 years great pizza…) I’m not local it’s minimum 20 minutes away from me and I’ve still been here 4-5 times since I discovered it the owner has been there every single time I’m now greeted by first name hard to find service like this these days aside from the class A service everything I’ve tried has been “write home worthy” honorable mention is the “pine nut ice cream” with real pine nuts I can try to explain the flavor and texture but I wouldn’t be doing it justice another is the “lemon con chamy popsicle” so refreshing on a hot day I almost want to drive there right now but it’s 4:55pm on a Friday another favorite of mine is the waters (cream or water base) strawberry, pecan, watermelon, pepino limon, I cannot recommend this place enough I almost don’t want to post this review because every time I’ve gone it’s always a little more busy than the last time but I also feel guilty gate...

The place looks clean and is quiet. I got ordered two ice creams. A two scoops and a one scoop. At the time of paying the two scoops were .75 cents more. I asked about the price increase and I was told that Beso de Angel flavor is more expensive than the others, but I didn’t see a sign or notice anywhere. Stopped by here multiple times while we were working in the area. Family friendly establishment, great atmosphere, many flavors to choose from and a variety of menu items to please your cravings!!
